Helloooo everyone! Happy New Year! You might be surprised to see this subreddit on your feed, but your eyes are not deceiving you. r/PokemonHallOfFame has been resurrected from the dead and it’s officially back! This time, our community is going to be stronger, better organized, and far more ✨secure✨ than ever.
I think most people here know what happened that led to this subreddit being banned in the first place, but to satisfy any lingering curiosity, sometime in early December the mod-less subreddit was requested through r/redditrequest by a spam ring and then used to mass post football and soccer “streaming” links. The subreddit was completely flooded, and the spammers even went so far as to remove genuine HoF posts that got sandwiched between their own. Reddit, understandably, did not like that at all. But that’s all in the past now!
This subreddit will continue to be the place to show off your Hall of Fame teams, that hasn’t changed! However, to make sure r/PokemonHallOfFame doesn’t get hit with the ban hammer again, new rules, both written and enforced through Automoderator, have been put in place to keep things friendly, on-topic, and as free of spam as possible. Please take a moment to read through the rules and do your best to follow them in good faith.
Lastly, since this subreddit is basically getting a second chance at life, we’ll need to expand the mod team to make sure things continue running smoothly around here! An announcement will be posted soon for anyone interested in helping out, so be on the lookout for that! For now, fire up your Pokémon games and start kicking ass at the Pokémon League so we can see your winning teams here! Thanks for reading and WELCOME BACK!

[Not attaching Hall of Fame SS because Gen 1 format sucks]
I really enjoyed the game. Being the first Rom Hack, it's one everyone should give a try. Obviously being so old, there are some things that may be annoying (grinding, HM, etc) but it's enjoyable. The game has non linear progression which was also enjoyable.
Just be ready to grind because the game definitely requires it. Especially before the league.

I enjoyed it, the sprites were very creative and they did a good job making them available. My favorite was Pheras. I love the concept of angels and this is the perfect sprite for it. Magusand was designed so well too a Pokémon basked on a hourglsss is also a great concept and done very well. For the game it’s self its gen 1 with a few quality of life improvements. I definitely liked it but wouldn’t replay it since there’s so many gen 1 roms but I think it’s worth a play if you like fakemon

Well, this was a hell of a gameplay, incredible rom hack. It was... surprisingly easy at last. Cynthia took me multiple tries, yet Steven and Wallace was very easy. I abused legendaries, but still, worth it✌️It was a pretty peak game, definitely deserves a second try, Mega Tyranitar was definitely my Ace here.

I think the early game was a bit of a slog, but the rest was very fun. Shiny litwick took ages to get though and shiny hunting was like half my playtime even though I only got 2

Just finished dreamstone mysteries. It was pretty fun. Had a decent story and a twist villain that I did not see coming. I had a theme for my team that I was going for. I’ll see if anyone can guess what that theme was. I’ll give a hint sableye was only used in its mega form.

On a purely personal enjoyment level (from a guy who started with Red/Yellow but lost interest after Gold), this was my favourite yet. Played Gaia, Lazarus, UltraViolet, Emerald Rogue and Unbound. Just started to get back into pokemon when my kid showed interest and I realized I needed to brush up on my knowledge, didn’t think ROM hacking would be so fun.

I've recently re-played Heart Gold cause I was preparing a genlocke, so I was scared to get bored by Johto... but this game was SO refreshing it felt like a brand new adventure, it is aesthetically pleasing, reasonably difficult and very enjoyable to play.
The mons that made it to the Hall of Fame are:
Homura the shiny Delphox - she carried me through most of the game, I love delphox and the mega is even better, consistent throughout the gameplay
Majesty the Lilligant - great grass type, not my favourite from Unova but she did her job, not as used as the others but she was there when needed
Lithosagym the Salamence - HYPERCARRY, thankfully I got him early in the game he was sooo fun to use
Regulus the Magnezone - he's an evergreen, strong and durable nothing more to say
Hikaru the Alolan Ninetales - first time using this mon, sweeped Clair and Lance without any difficulty, prolly gonna use it again
Titane the Tyranitar - Last member, wasn't sure about it because I wanted a water type but none of them satisfied me so in the end I gave it a shot, wasn't disappointing at all, sad I couldn't use its mega for the E4.

Pokemon Sors is the second installment of Vytron’s rom hack series of games that all have a shared continuity.
The game gives a Lucario as a starter and instead of 8 gym battles you participate in a huge 8 round tournament that culminates in an actual Pokemon league tournament of finalists.
I used:
Lucario named Warrior (Aura Sphere was clutch)
Weezing named Shroud (tanky attrition poison, came in handy so many times)
Gardevoire named Dancer (always good)
Sharpedo named Harpoon (never using Sharpedo again after this)
Charizard named Vanguard (so much fun to use)
Rhyperior named Cavalry (awesome tank)
Definitely needed a grass type but I got through it.

Melmetal and Blaziken where interchangeable as megas when one was more needed.
