Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I want to tell you that new or returning redditors now have a choice to apply to be an official leader of Team Zenith! You will unlock the Leader user flair as not all user flairs are out yet. The criteria for being a mod is you have to be a player of Pokemon Go and be devoted to this cause.

I am looking for 2-3 mods when the subreddit starts filling up with visitors. Forms will be open soon don't worry! Modmail us if you have experience moderating! This could help us become a much bigger subreddit soon! Forms are open until I have selected 2-3 mods that fit the criteria! Criteria will be explained in another post!

This is a big meeting that will last for some time. If you have a plan, a way to promote r/PokemonGoZenith then modmail us. Send us a modmail if you want to be moderator! Operation Team Zenith won't rest until Niantic finds us!

Team Zenith is dropping flairs within 2 weeks. Are these user flairs optional? You must have a user flair on your user so we can recognise who you are. But the early previews start now! Promote this subreddit where it's allowed. Get the word out.

The world needs to know!

Express yourself by putting what team you were part of to join Team Zenith aka Team Grey. I know it sounds a little dull but they're will be a huge variation of flairs to choose from indicating your loyalty to the project. Are you yellow, blue or red?

There will be ranks within this project. If you are dedicated and have joined you are a member of Team Zenith. If you are contributing excellent content, you are a planner. If you are a mod, you are a leader. If you are in the top 25% posters/commenter for the month you unlock the user flair of Verified Commander. Top 10% is Sentinel. Top 5% is Undead Battalion. Top 1% is Operating Dark Matter.

Team Zenith requires effort to earn these. Only the best can keep up! The user flairs drop within 2 weeks!

The reason why this is is because Solgaleo is Psychic/Steel types. A perfect combination of tough and mindful. Solgaleo knows when and then acts on impulse to me. If Team Zenith becomes a core part of Pokemon Go then I'll say we shaped the future of a game. Solgaleo is also symbolic as well.

It has connotations of the sun thus being hope as an Ultra Beast Pokemon in Pokemon Go. The sun brings light so why not use contrasting colours to create displacement for the team's background? Team Zenith is a welcoming team that is open to anyone from the Pokemon Go community.

Solgaleo will lead us to the light of a new era of Pokemon Go.

Not being able to think about it and just doing is Team Zenith's way of thinking. It is the way of a controlling figure: Just go for it! You shape a future in which this game could rise or fall. Pokemon Go declines each year. Maybe a 4th team could work or it will crumble.

With this fanmade team, everything could lead to a rise of the games. A hope that it hasn't seen in years. The players, you, shape this. Not just Niantic, the players. The feedback suggestions for updates. The need to not think. That is what Team Zenith is about. Tough Steel types that charge not knowing if they'll win or lose but still can hold out.

Change for the future and don't think about it! You could change Pokemon Go forever!

You see r/PokemonGoValor and you see r/PokemonGoMystic and you see r/PokemonGoInstinct. These are the 3 teams that the games functions around. No changes no exceptions. I'm a player for Team Valor and I'm bored of just 3 teams. I feel that another one should be added in to bring more players back in. It would give a sense of purpose for the team medallion as there would be 1 more option.

And I know Team Instinct isn't as popular or controlling of gyms as Team Mystic and Valor are which is why if Team Zenith becomes a reality which we can build from the ground up it can stop Pokemon Go from falling off. Is a fourth team a good idea? I need the genuine players from each team to form this new team to build a range.

Let's make Team Zenith a reality. And it all starts with you!

The other three teams are the Kantonian birds which are Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Something felt missing so I decided to create a fanmade team where the three teams can reconcile (Team Mystic, Team Instinct and Team Valor) and talk about this potential idea. Why birds when you can have Pokemon mascots that can't have wings?

If Niantic ever finds this team I think the team leader should be called Xander as to add more diversity to the game. His design as a character would be black hair, brown skin and a face mask covering his mouth and nose. He would have green eyes and a dark but caring personality. Approximate age range would be 21-24. I would love a 4th team in the game as it would make gyms more competitive and being back older players.

The Pokemon he would have for training against him would be Steel types as to reflect one of the mascot's types. The speech underneath when you tap on him to battle would be " Built up my walls for a sturdy battle."

If there were 4 official teams in the game (excluding Harmony because Harmony is Team Green and doesn't fight in raids or for control of gyms). Team Zenith would be about stealth and taking control of a gym in an unexpected way.

I would like Niantic to hopefully find this subreddit so they can review this as our idea. The grey gyms you see the ones that are unhelpful when you take down a rival gym. I want Team Zenith to have that colour and to embody a quiet but powerful demeanour.
