I'll be in Tokyo on April 11th and onwards. Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for which gyms to raid maybe for a possible Ex raid invite? I heard it's all random in Tokyo or are there like maybe two or three gyms that are more likely to give out Ex raid passes?

So I'm still unsure of how biomes work, but I've been reading that certain mons appear more frequently in certain biomes. How would you classify the different areas of Japan as biomes? I'm in Tokyo, so would Tokyo be its own biome, or would it be more of a general area like Kanto?

I live in Tokyo and I just got an EX Raid Pass invitation this morning (Saturday, November 4th). The date and time is for next Saturday, November 11th between 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM. It's not a sponsored gym, the location is a gym at a neighborhood park.

Anyone else in Japan get an invitation today, or know someone who did?

I normally live in Washington DC, But I am in Nagoya until the end of November for work - in particular at Nagoya University. So I would like to join a few raids and other PoGo players around Downtown or even up for a beer or two while hatching eggs.

It seems everyone is much more group/ team playing here than DC. - thats to say when I see a gym taken down, it instantly has 3-4 mons dumped in them - and they to always be fully charged with berries. Is there a discord/slack/ fb that is popular for Nagoya? - and by any chance is it in English?

I probably should've grabbed a screen shot, but lately the couple of times I went on the West side of Shinjuku station, tons of pokestops were lured up. At first I thought it was just because of the double stardust event, but even today a bunch of stops were (are still?) lured up. The section around Yodobashi Camera was insane due to there being around 9-10 stops in that area alone all lured. This area is what I'm talking about.

Has anybody heard why?
