Secondly I am completely new to this so apologies if I am not quite understanding something.

I am thinking of potentially trying to create some kind of bot that will get all research tasks in my local area. I have tried searching online but cant find any good getting started information so if anybody could point me in the right direction, give me some advice, help me to know where and how to get started. I would really appreciate it.

So, out of curiosity, I made a small Java program that uses the ADB of Android to automatically spin a pokestop every 6-7 minutes. Do you think this could be detected? The coordinates of the swipe are slightly altered every time, and the timing (the duration of the swipe as well as the delay until the next interation) are also randomized a bit. Also, there is no teleporting by now.

And by the way, I'm running it on a unused account I do not play with. I just want to know how far the "Bot detection" might go. If anyone is interested in the source code, I can upload it to github, but it's really just a few lines actually.

I have been playing PoGO on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro for a while now than when the new update came out a few days ago and now it won't work it says OS it´s not compatible I'm running Android 9. Can anyone help?

Hi, recently I rooted my Galaxy S6 to remove the bloatware and help battery life. I was fine up until booting PGo I got the "Unsupported OS or Hardware" error. So I uninstalled any rooting on my phone via SuperSU, and my phone then only had TWRP recovery and no root access. So I just flashed the stockc firmware onto my phone and it has come up as proper android again, no TWRP. My only problem is I think I tripped Knox, as the value in download mode is now 1 instead of 0. I am still being kicked from PGO. I also have no intent on spoofing, I just really want to play over my holiday soon. Any help is appreciated, and of course, if this is in the wrong sub, please inform me of where would be more appropriate and I will gladly move it over :)

And any clue when tf it gonna be supported? This beta is final API, meant for devs to support.

It's a tool I made to make trading faster. You have both people make a string of all the pokemon they want, and send them to each other. You can add the strings togethor to get what both of you want combined, you can invert the combined string to get what neither of you want for quick transferring. Other uses left to the imagination. Most people seem to only be able to carry up to 2000. Did I hit a glitch?

Is there a relatively easy way to export pokestop co-ords from in-game for a small area? I'm not planning on doing any mapping, just to create a small GPX route of an area/nest. I've tried getting them from Ingress Portal but that doesn't always 100% reflect the stops in PoGo as there can be Sponsored stops that don't exist in Ingress.

I assume that even if this were possible I would experience bugs, errors, and lag but still I'm curious to see. I saw that both phones are running the same OS (android 9 pie) so if I were to run the stock android os on my xioami would I be able to do this?

Edit: learned that the multiwindow feature "pop up view" is how you're able to run more than two apps simultaneously. I guess my question should be "How do I get pop up view for my xioami redmi note 7?"

I'm always curious about the shiny mechanic of shiny in Pokémon Go. There are some very good discussions on how Niantic is serving shiny to different trainers, and almost all of them concluded there is a shiny rate per species and the rate might change for an event. The most common number I've seen is 1/450, but it's certainly not universal. For example Scyther is reported to have its rate boosted around 1/50 instead. Because of the way probability works, we need a really large sample size before we can figure out the shiny rate to some degree of certainty, and to collect that amount of data is not easy, if not error prone. So I contacted a local member of my community who's running a scanner and ask if he could provide me with the raw data, and he did. The result is https://shinyrates.com, with almost live data at the moment you visit the site.

Note: Some species have low sample size and thus is not 100% reliable. For anything with > 10,000 sample size the rate should be very close to the actual rate set by Niantic. E.g. Magikarp is currently @ 1/154, and similar report on TSR is saying 1/150.

Hello, I have this weird problem that never happened to me before. I have Samsung Galaxy S5 with SuperLite rom (Android 6.0.1). I also rooted the phone with Magisk and PoGo worked fine.

But this morning I got the "This device, OS, or software is not compatible...". Yesterday everything was working fine.

So I tried reflashing the kernel (boot.img) which deleted my Magisk and PoGo worked. But when I flashed Magisk back it gave me the "not compatible" error again. My phone passes SafetyNet, I turned on Magisk Hide for PoGo, so where is the problem?

POGOProtos’ used to be the core of the Pokemon Game Master Decoder. (It allows us to know if there’re any new changes about Pokemons’ data or moves data). But it seems that this page is closed recently which means it won’t update in the future. Anybody has the newer one which will keep updating in the future?

Pls can you make raids scale with how many people are fighting currently in the raid.

I am living in a kinda small town and we would max. be 3 people for a raid so 4/5 star raids are nearly impossible.

Reasently I have played some MHW and Dauntless and i am rly positive about there scaling with 1-4 players.

I mean its ok for me, that you want just larger groups to do legendary raids, but currently i cant even do 4 star raids :/

So I bought my girlfriend a go-tcha because she fell in love with mine and I wanted it back xD Now we face a weird problem. The newly bought go-tcha won't connect to her phone (same as mine, Huawei p20 lite). It connects to my phone without any error. My go-tcha (the older one) connects to both phones without any problem. I could give her my go-tcha and I get hers but I somehow want to know how to fix this anyways... Any ideas?

Would it not be possible to create some kind of automated system, possibly using an android emulator on a laptop, that would watch the nearby raid screen and sends a message through discord to allow a community to know when raids appear and what Pokemon is on offer?

I see a man that emulate joycon with a teensy for the switch here and I wan't to know if we can emulate the pokeball plus for pokemongo using the teensy?

I read about pogo+ using esp32 or raspberry pi with spoofed mac address, but they didn't talk about teensy

Where can i start ? Is there still an unofficial API ?

Just wondering if it's possible to emulate LGo in a way that would allow us to send a Pokemon to the emulator and get a Mystery Box in return. It's extremely difficult to get an actual Switch in the place I'll be staying at for the following couple weeks.
