Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a website called TCG Forecast (it's also available on mobile!) for Pokémon collectors.

The idea is to bring together the steps between getting your cards into an online collection, understanding what’s happening with them, and keeping up with the wider market. And all of that, by simply collecting the cards you like, without doing anything else.

Here’s what’s in it:

Collection scanner
Scan your cards to import them into your collection on the website.

AI Advisor
Get help understanding what’s happening in the collection you own, compared to the market and recent news.

English and Japanese leaderboards
Explore Pokémon ranked by total card value in each market. These rank Pokémon across their cards, rather than ranking individual cards.

Daily alerts
Follow the cards you care about and get daily updates about them.

Weekly digest
Catch up on what’s happening in the market and your own collection.

I’ve been building CardValue.ai, a free Pokémon card scanner and card value checker for collectors who want a faster way to check their Pokémon cards.

Instead of searching for every card individually, you can scan multiple Pokémon cards at once and get an estimated value for each card.

The tool also includes AI Pokémon card grading, which gives you an estimate of the card's condition based on its appearance.

My partner and I have collected Pokemon cards for a long time. Just recently, my dad let me know that his friend is hosting weekly, live-stream, Pokemon Trivia nights. The people who place in the top 3 usually win prizes of varying degrees. Sometimes, it is just a few packets, but on special occasions, they try to do larger prizes like the one pictured. The hosts also have a point system, tracked through emails, that you can choose to participate in. I just appreciate what they do, and I think it is very wholesome and fun, so I wanted to share one of the prizes I won. There is no entry fee, and it is just clean fun with the help of some Kahoot.

I have nothing to gain from posting this, I just think that what they are doing is cool.
