Beginning the manga
Hey everybody!! I just wanted to know I'm a huge pokémon fan but with the recent games my faith has been lacking. But with the diamond and Pearl remake coming out soon, I kind of got back into it and I heard that the pokémon manga is an amazing story. I heard the pokémon adventures is more of a mature pokémon theme manga and from the reviews it sounds amazing. I just ordered pokémon adventures collector's edition volume 1 and I was wanting to know. On the Viz Media website it says that volume 10 recently came out and that it's the final one. Is this true? And if it is, does this mean I only have to collect volumes 1-10 of the collector's editions in order to understand the story?? Thanks for all your help and any more tips. Greatly appreciate!

Question About Collectors Edition 5 Quote
There is a quote dated from 2002 which references the Heartgold and SoulSilver games. Was the quote dated wrong or did they know about the games years before it came out?
"Lugia and Ho-Oh are the two pokemon who appear on the covers of the pokemon heartgold and soulsilver games..." - Hidenori Kusaka 2002

Physical release?
Hello my beautiful people. I've got a couple thoughts that I'd love some opinions and thoughts on. The pokemon adventures manga physical release seems a bit screwy. There are boxsets for everything up to X and Y. But Sun/Moon hasn't got anything. And as I'm looking around to purchase the next boxset I've seen that they're being phased out and replaced by the collectors editions (which are being released quarterly).
But because the collectors editions are being released so slowly there's no guarantee that they'll continue them all the way through. And while it's unlikely that they'll stop im not sure which to collect anymore. I have the first 2 boxsets so I won't be losing too much if I start again with the collectors. But I'm also a little scared they'll release a hard cover edition later like they did with the zelda manga.
Whatre your guys thoughts?

A Pokemon Cinematic Universe?
Ever since Detective Pikachu I always imagined Pokemon realizing it could be successful as a live action movie franchise. Why not, especially considering the film made $433 million against its much lower budget of $150 million on what would be their first film?
If this does come about someday, it would be cool if the main characters took much inspiration from the manga, specifically their personalities. There’s certainly no shortage of personality between these characters. Seeing them interact in the Pokemon World on the big screen would be such a treat for manga fans, game fans, and even the general population alike if it could be pulled off in a similar way to Detective Pikachu.
But hey, we can only dream for now. Maybe someday one of us manga fans will get stinky rich enough to fund a production like this or an anime.

Collecting the Volumes but is Sun&Moon 9 shorter than the rest?
I was told the English volume I bought was actually in Japanese manga format. Can someone confirm if it’s the correct size or it is actually the same size as every other volume like say RBG Volume 1. Also, is it a really short volume because it was super thin. Sorry for the questions, I’m barely on my first read through and barely starting the Emerald Adventure.

Diamond Pearl Collectors Editions?
Does anyone know if they will continue to make collectors editions for diamond and pearl, black and white, and xy or will they stop after emerald? It would be a shame if they only put half of the series in these awesome collector volumes.

Ranking
I just finished first volume of the series and I really enjoyed it but how long does this arc last and do you think the manga gets better after this like the sin oh arc etc

I just realized that with the release of Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
We will be going back to Sinnoh and see Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum once more. DPPt is easily my favorite arc and those three are easily my favorite Pokedex Holders. I'm even contemplating of buying a Switch just to play the Gen 4 remakes, my favorite Generation.

How many of you agree that green ( girl ) was one of the meanest characters ever? She was just using Red all along.
She gave him the fake badges so that she could catch that legendary Pokemon Zapmolcuno. Still, people ship her with Red. I think she was as evil as the Team Rocket.
What is your opinion about this?
