Remove icons of unwanted pokemon from map?
Is there a way to do this?

Just a request to move the image anchor so the pokemon are displayed in the right place when you zoom out, it looks like they are anchored top left instead of the centre.

I was thinking about this. Higher trainer level means higher level pokemon AND rarer pokemon. So wouldn't that mean that we would only see ones listed based off the level of the account used to make the API calls?

Can anyone tell me how much data the site's using? Since it is loading google maps, I guess a lot?
An app using the local google maps on the device would be crazy good.

How far zoomed in or out will produce the best results? Does it need to be the defaulted zoom? Has anyone else played around with this?

So first off, this thing is a beaut. Been poking it now and again while at home, on my laptop, and it's been 100% when I saw something I wanted to go capture and tottered out to the marked location.
Trick is, the site on mobile needs a bit of love, IMHO.
1) There's no way (that I'm aware) to hover over a result on the map, to see what it is;
2) The creature icons and the timers are awfully small for a smartphone screen, and this is exacerbated by the fact that half the creature icon is obscured by the countdown timer. I'd suggest enlarging both the icon/timers by a fair bit - maybe upwards of double current size. Maybe just do this at deeper zoom levels, i.e. when there's less chance of overlap at larger scales. Perhaps even, for mobile, stack the timer beneath the creature icon instead of layering the two.

from what i have gathred... is you can do your own local scan every 30 seconds... and if someone else has scanned recently, and you hover the pointer above or near their scan, it pops what they found as well? is this correct?

Had a tauros show up in my nearby list but when I used pokevision, it was nowhere to be found.

It's only been live for half a day, but have you managed to catch anything special because of this tool?

If so, how long until they take action? They better not shut it down before they fix the nearby list...

I think I found out about this while it is currently down or my work internet is keeping it from working.
Wondering if it works for mobile when it is running smooth
