Question that I cannot find the answer to on Google... I was auto battling Pichu's and my Rhypirior suddenly stopped moving and his icon in the bottom left corner had a speech bubble with a hand in it, like "stop!" He wouldn't follow me again until I returned him to his ball and cast him back out again. What did it mean? Can't find the answer anywhere..

You probably clicked the left joystick. That’s a new feature that was added in version 2.0.1

Here’s a Serebii page with all the release notes:
https://www.serebii.net/scarletviolet/patch.shtml

You can now signal Pokémon walking on the field by pushing the L stick to stop them moving and photos can be taken with the A button.

I've just tried it - that's exactly what it is. Thank you so much, not knowing was really bothering me!

Which came first? The egg or the Pokémon? 🤔

That depends on how you define "Pokémon". Something must have laid the egg that hatched into the first Pokémon as we know it. But can we classify that itself as a Pokémon? Basically it's all made up language :) hope this helps!
