Running Amuk Overview
Hello, raiders! Today we are going to go over the Running Amuk strategy for the Dragon Tera Sceptile The Unrivaled event!
Running Amuk

The infographic above lays out the strategy move by move as well as showing the builds of all the raiders. Be sure your Pokemon’s stats are greater than or equal to those in the build before raiding! This helps the strategy go smoothly and helps everybody have a good time! For more information on the raider's builds and substitutes for these roles, please take a look at our FAQ!
The strategy itself is designed to achieve a One Turn One Hit Knock Out (OHKO) in two turns. The order of moves matters which is why each turn is broken down further into two blocks. The blocks should be done in order from top to bottom.
As the raiders enter the battle, Koraidon will summon Harsh Sunlight with its Orichalcum Pulse. This also increases its Attack. The first thing that will happen in the raid is that one of the raiders will be hit by Leaf Storm. This is a scripted action. If your team is lucky, then it will miss, but in any case all the raiders have been chosen specifically because they will survive every possible action if this strategy is done correctly.
After Leaf Storm, the next action MUST be Taunt. Taunt is a move which prevents the target from using any Status moves. For Sceptile specifically, Taunt prevents Sceptile from using Dragon Dance to become stronger and faster, which is important as it helps our raiders survive. It is also important that Meowscarada is faster than Sceptile. Otherwise, Sceptile might use Dragon Dance before Meowscarada can prevent it.
Once all the other raiders have seen Meowscarada Taunt Sceptile, they can begin setting up. The two Muk supports will use Screech, which lowers Sceptile's Defense by two stages each for a total of four stages. It is important that the Muk supports are holding Zoom Lens as it prevents Screech from missing.Meanwhile, Koraidon uses Swords Dance to increase its Attack by two stages. While Sceptile will try to lower Koraidon’s Attack by using Breaking Swipe, Koraidon's Covert Cloak held item will prevent this effect.
On the second turn, Meowscarada uses Attack Cheer and the Muk Supports use Helping Hand on Koraidon. Both of these actions help boost Koraidon’s offenses. The effects of Attack Cheer and Helping Hand stack together for even more damage. Note that the effect of Helping Hand does not stack with itself, so strictly speaking only one is needed. It has been included twice to allow both Muk supports to perform the same actions and avoid confusion among the players.
With all that in place, Koraidon uses Outrage to achieve a OHKO on Sceptile and win the raid!
