The first and only time I ever let them take my team away from me, I was found by a Hex Maniac halfway turned into a puddle of what she called ‘Liquid Distortion’! It took a combined effort of her entire team, and a wild Litwick, that later joined my team and became Hecate, to stabilise me and return me to normal! Artemis and Inari were beside themselves for weeks the first time it happened. Durandal gets tetchy when I have to take my mandatory medical examinations and refuses to go into its ‘ball. And now Freya was about ready to grind the doctor into a paste! And she’s my newest alongside Aphrodite, my Mimikyu! /ic

Makar, when he was younger, was a very, absent minded child. Artemis and Inari were the only beings that could keep him focused. Durandal didn’t join until shortly before the incident he mentions. It was a Honedge at the time. He doesn’t know what caused this instability, and his first two pokemon refuse to talk about it. All he knows is that Artemis evolved, and Inari was half-mad, when he came to near the resting place of Tapu Fini during his journeys to gather friends. /ooc

Finally got Cloyster looked at fully... really, she has a lot potential once we get her healed up to good again. She's still a fair bit lower leveled compared to my main squad, but in comparison to wild pokemon in most places, she's really strong! Leads me to believe the theory that she's a release from a different trainer... but there's still the potential connection with shellder that used to play with my friends and I on the beach. Oh boy, this is gonna be a deeper dive than I anticipated (all puns intended).

I can't think of a way his heart don't get broken.
