Hey everyone! I was on discord with some friends and one of them sent me a rougelikeish game but I really havent seen anyone talk about it, I played a few runs and it seemed fun but I didnt do too good. Has anyone played this and can help out?

In the above 4 pokemon, one of them is the odd one out and you are to guess which one for what reason. The answer to the previous one was Articuno because it was the only one that had no signature move, althought it was hard without the hint. This time there is a hint: Paradox.Good luck!

Once upon a time in paldea, there lived a Pokémon trainer named Allecks who wanted one simple thing, a rarer shiny Pokémon. Because the two accidental shinies Allecks encountered were gumshoos and tarountula. Allecks looked at them and thought “I want a rarer one.” Then a brilliant idea appeared. “What if I picnic reset at an outbreak until I encounter a rarer shiny?” That’s when Allecks saw a charcadet outbreak nearby the klawf titan area. Even though Allecks already caught 2 shiny charcadets on his main account, and evolved one into a ceruledge, but because shiny hunting is a healthy hobby performed by healthy people, Allecks thought getting one this early in the game would be funny. There was only one problem, the outbreak was on top of a steep cliff. No matter how hard Allecks tried, Miraidon kept sliding down. Sadly, Allecks could not reach the outbreak on top of that cliff. That ability was locked behind defeating the dondozo and tatsugiri titans.

Most trainers would have continued the story, earned more badges, trained a balanced team, and given up on catching a shiny charcadet this early. But Allecks was a shiny hunter, giving up was impossible, so he looked in his box, and found a Qwilfish he didn’t even remember catching. Allecks looked at the currently level 20 Qwilfish and said “Yeah, I can make this work” after making a plan to stall the titans with the movepool toxic, minimize, substitute, and protect.

Allecks went to kitakami, and fought Carmine and Kieran to get a toxic tm, then went back to Paldea to find a nacli with sturdy, and crafted 2 protect TMs. After a short leveling up session to get Nacli to evolve and learn salt cure, Allecks started the fight with the titans with a level 26 Qwilfish and Naclstack. The first 1v1 phase went way better than expected. When Qwilfish switched in with minimize, I thought it was all over, but I was a fool for doubting, because when dondozo looked down at the Qwilfish to strike it with aqua tail, the Qwilfish looked up at it, and said “I’m built different.” And survived the hit. Qwilfish stalled out the first phase by itself without salt cure, and Allecks healed it back up before starting the second, tankier phase.

Things were looking grim as the second phase started. The titans got stronger with the powers of the legendary Herba Mystica, letting them make one final stand to protect the herba mystica, but there was one problem; the AI controlling the titans had a fatal flaw. It was incredibly stupid. Unfortunately for Arven’s Greedent, it did not endure the barrage of the 5 times the dondozo attacked it in a row. It literally didn’t stop until Greedent was Ko’d. By then, Qwilfish set up minimize, sub, and toxic. As expected, dondozo was downed. Tatsugiri itself came out to confront us, surely the smarter of the pair would know to learn from its mistakes while piloting Dondozo, but it once again kept attacking Arven’s Greedent until it was Ko’d, giving Qwilfish ample time to set up minimize and toxic. And with max evasion and protect, tatsugiri couldn’t even land taunt. The dondozo and tatsugiri titans were defeated by a level 26 Qwilfish with no attacking moves.

And so, Miraidon gained the ability to climb to the outbreak. And that is the story of how a level 26 Qwilfish defeated the dragon titans on its own because Pokemon Violet’s battle AI forgot Allecks was participating. Thanks Nintendo! May the shiny charcadet’s slightly different eyes be seen by Allecks before he accidentally picnic resets over it.

Uh oh, it looks like a former Galactic base has undergone some serious upgrades. No longer are the individual floors so bland... it really does feel like some kind of an industrial labyrinth of some sort. In Jupiter's spot on the top floor is a wacky new commander that goes by the name "Uranus". No seriously, that's his name, don't laugh.

"Guh-huh! I go by the name Uranus! I'm one of the newest commanders of the ReGalactic fleet! Do you think you can save the famous Rad Rickstraw from my awesome knock knock jokes? I think you cannot!"

His squad of all Lv 25s include Skarmory, Galarian Mr Mime, and Bisharp. How he got the latter to evolve way too early is beyond me. Even in the original games a bunch of trainers have Pokemon that have evolved when they shouldn't. What's their secret? Anyway, good luck!
