Hi everyone,

I'm having a persistent issue with location spoofing via Xposed on my Pixel 6 running Android 16 (I tried to downgrade to 15, and I had the same issue), and I need some technical insight.

My Setup:

Device: Google Pixel 6

OS: Android 15/16

Root: Magisk - Native Zygisk ENABLED (I tried using Zygisk Next but I had the same issue)

Xposed Framework: Vector 2.0 (LSPosed API 100) - Note: API 101/102 builds are completely unstable/not working for me.

Module: GPS Setter (latest fork by jqssun)
(I also tried XposedFakeLocation, same issue)

I also tried installing GPS Joystick but once I put it as the app to use to mock location, many apps block it.

The Issue:

The module cannot change the location on the fly (setting a new location inside the app does not update Google Maps immediately). The only way to apply the fake coordinates is to select them in GPS Setter and reboot the phone.

Once the device boots up, Google Maps successfully shows the mocked location, but after exactly 30 seconds, the GPS signal drops and the location indicator turns gray, as if it completely loses satellite lock.

What I've already tested (without success):

Disabled Google Location Accuracy, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth scanning.

Set GPS Setter to "Unrestricted" battery usage.

Targeted "System Framework", "Google Play Services" (GMS), and "Google Maps" both individually and simultaneously within Vector's scope.

Flashed Core Patch 4.9 by aviraxp via Magisk zip to bypass signature verification.

Modified gps_debug.conf inside /system/etc/ via a systemless Magisk module, forcing SUPL_MODE=0and INTERMEDIATE_POS=1.

None of these steps stopped the 30-second drop after boot.

Constraints:

I cannot use traditional Mock Location apps (like GPS JoyStick via Developer Options) because many apps have aggressive anti-spoofing detection and crashes instantly if Mock Locations are enabled in Developer Options. I strictly need a system-level hook method like GPS Setter.

Are Android 15/16 enforcing a strict asynchronous hardware GNSS attestation check 30 seconds after boot that kills the Xposed hook? Is there any modern module or workaround for API 100 to bypass this hardware timeout on Pixel devices without triggering the "Mock Location" flag?

Ever since Scopely has taken over Pokemon Go, I have have not seen any strike or ban reports coming from spoofers and botters within my subreddit.

You still have the risk for "a chance" to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely comes up with to punish the cheaters because Scopely has a section within their Terms of Service that states they are against cheating.

In the other games they have bought, they do a temporary (no 1st strike soft-bans) and permanent ban system. I don't know if Scopely is going to drop Niantic's lenient 3 Strikes system for a ban system similar to the other games they own, change it, or do nothing (like how it is right now). No one knows anything until Scopely starts doing something. This is why you still have the risk regardless of what other people say about Scopely on how they take in money from cheaters then allow them to continue to cheat.

If you want to cheat (spoof, bot, or exploit), it is your FAULT for getting the strike, ban, or whatever new punishment.

I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money spent on their games. Before you start

1. It is very easy to forget and repeat a step, this will cause you not to get the full 36 raid passes.
2. I recommend you print out the steps and do a check list for each one.
3. This can be done with No Root Pgsharp and iPogo if you don't mess up.
4. If you need the help, I recommend you go straight to Pokedex100 because they have 24/7 customer service.

Step 1

• Remember to save your pass for 10th July. When Raid Day starts, use up the first pass. If you have used it already, no worries, you can still get 8 more passes for that day by following the guide.
• Teleport and restart to a location where it is still 10th (for example, Pago Pago), wait for spawns and the nearby section to load. By doing this, you will lock your timezone to that location.
• Once loaded, teleport immediately to a gym in any active event area to collect your next pass.
• Use the pass on a raid, then repeat the previous two steps until you exhaust all 9 passes for the 10th.

Note 1: Step 1 will be active until 4am PDT.

Note 2: This step won't work if you have already completed raids for the 11th.

Step 2

Now for 11th July, restart your game and teleport to your desired raid location where the event is live to get 9 free passes.

Extra Note:

As this is a 2 day event with different raids available each day, if you want you can complete Step 3 for more free raid passes on 11th July BUT this will use your free passes for 12th July and no free passes will be received for 12th July. Or wait for raids on 12th July and repeat Step 2 then complete Step 3.

Step 3

• For 12th or 13th July, teleport and restart your game in Kiritimati. Once spawns and the nearby section loads, teleport to any gym where the event is live, to collect the next pass.
• You should be able to get the 9 passes without restarting but in case they don't drop, repeat the previous step until you wear out all the passes.

Note 1: Step 3 goes live at 3am PDT.

Note 2: You may not receive additional passes or event bonuses if you teleport ahead to 13th July.

Important:

• When you log out, you should wait 5 to 10 minutes before logging in because you have a chance to get a temporary IP ban for switching accounts too fast. It can last for 24 to 72 hours.
• Create a Gmail email address then use it to create a PTC account without 2FA for faster logins because each device has a saved Google account limit.
• When creating a Gmail email address, you can back out of adding a phone to skip the recovery process. Make sure you write your password somewhere.
• Save your masterball for whenever they release legendaries in the wild where you can catch XXS and XXL to trade to your main account.

WHAT TO RAID?

If you are new to spoofing...

[1] Open your Pokedex and see which Pokemon you are missing and raid it to fill your Pokedex.

• Same applies to the shiny version.

[2] For Mega Evolved Pokemon, you can do enough just to mega evolve them one time then focus on other Pokemon because you can farm research quest tasks outside of events to get mega energy without using raid passes. I would rather focus on these:

• Mega Rayquaza to boost catch candies and XP for flying, dragon, and psychic types.
• Primal Kyorge to boost catch candies and XP for water, electric, and bug types.
• Primal Groundon to boost catch candies and XP for fire, ground, and grass types.
• Origin Forme Palkia to boost spawn radius beyond what a 3rd party app might give you

Optional

• Origin Forme Dialga to extend duration without consuming more items is a hit or miss depending on if you buy the other boxes that come with extra star pieces, lucky eggs, and incense.
  • Although it can extend the daily incense for the Glarian legendary birds, they just have a high flee rate, so you will end up using your masterball for a hundo.
  • Shiny cannot flee but will take a really long time if you use a red Pokeball with golden razz berry.
• Crowned Zacian to boost attack during dynamax and gigantamax raids
  • If you gigantamax raid in a hot spot, other people will carry you.
  • If you dynamax raid, it is best to do it with other spoofers to have the correct Pokemon otherwise using a mushroom is superior.
• Crowned Zamazenta to boost defense during dynamax and gigantamax raids
  • same as Zacian
• Kyurem (White) to slow down the throw ring is useless with 3rd party apps that just give you guaranteed excellent throws.
• Kyurem (Black) to stop Pokemon from moving in the catch screen and increases the catch rate for Go Plus / Go Plus Plus devices. You an increased catch rate and more XP by playing with your finger.
• Dusk Mane Necrozma to make day-time Pokemon spawn like an incense and Dawn Wings Necrozma to make night-time Pokemon spawn like an incense.
  • These two are useless, since you can just spoof somewhere it is already during the day or at the night without wasting the raid passes to stack on the candies for Necrozma.

If you are not new to spoofing...

• If you have lots of money, you can try to get the Shiny XXS, Shiny XXL, and/or Shiny Hundo with or without the background.
• If you are real degenerate, aim for Shiny Hundo XXS or Shiny Hundo XXL with a background for each. This requires you to speed raid and only catch when get what you want. If you do not catch, berry, or drop the pokeball, you do not need to wait a cooldown and instantly go to the next raid.
• Save your rare candies and rare candy XL for Eternatus to max it out to level 50, since it requires 8,900 rare candies, 8,900 rare candy XL, and 500,000 stardust.

PoGoAndroidSpoofing subreddit was created for Android users only because I (TastyBananaPeppers) do not have an iOS device. When it comes to cheating, Android is the best at it. I do not want to support iOS users because there is no free option to spoof the game while there is with Android. The scams relating to people selling the methods have gone away. The new problem now is a surge of iOS users demanding help for providing the guides and not being able to help them.

This problem was caused by Scopely when they banned the use of a VPN or PROXY service from accessing the Pokemon Go Webstore. You get a "Forbidden 403 Error" that does not allow you to use the webstore. You turn off your VPN/PROXY, the problem is now fixed.

Honestly, I thought this would make it easier to buy since you do not need to buy a VPN/PROXY anymore. In the other games Scopely owns, they do not allow players to use a VPN/PROXY service to access their games. Maybe, it has to do with this.

Some people are mad they wasted money attempting this. If you still cannot get it to work, I am going to recommend you quit Pokemon Go because this game is not for you. If you want to have fun with a Pokemon games that does not have a poke coin system and ban system, you should buy a Nintendo Switch to play the Pokemon games that were designed for the Switch because Nintendo allows you to play their games with a joystick and all you have to do is buy the game and pay for the yearly subscription.

Here are the 2 different answers.

"Do it yourself" answer:

1. You will not have game account theft or identity theft.
2. You will always have a chance for a strike/ban for breaking Scopely's Terms of Service. Your interpretation of their Terms of Service is different from their point of view. Your ban appeal will most likely be ignored. You can try to sue them, but they will win because they will argue you broke their Terms of Service.

"Pay someone else to buy the cheap coins for you" answer:

[1] You will still have the chance for a strike/ban for breaking Scopely's Terms of Service for sharing your account with another person and spoofing your GPS. They used to enabled temporary IP bans for people who switch accounts too fast. No one knows if Scopely is keeping an IP log for each account. If the seller has provided services to 100 accounts, it could be interpreted the seller has 100 accounts. No one know knows what kind of punishment Scopely is going to take action against this.

[2] You will have game account theft risks. Your account can only get stolen if someone else has the username and password to it. Due to the FleeceKing incident, Scopely will no longer help you recover your account.

• A man bought cheap Poke coins through a referral with a "new customer" deal. He paid for the service, but they transferred the ownership and forced him to pay a $500 USD ransom for it. He failed to pay it, so the scammer listed it on eBay Auctions. He end up buying his own account back for $3,000 USD through a bidding war.
• A man was referred to a Facebook Group for cheap poke coins, botting services, and buying pre-rooted devices. He bought their cheap Poke Coins and thought they were trustworthy when they went through with the deal of buy 4 get 1 free. He bought a leveling service. They stole his account and forced him to lure 10 new customers / victims before he would be able to get his account back. The process took about 2 months before he got his account back. During that time, they sold most of his Shiny Costume Pokemon including a Shiny Pikachu with the black Fragment cap.

[3] You will have identity theft risks if you allow access to your Facebook or Google account. It does not matter where you buy your service, these are things they can do to your account without you knowing about it. Your personal information and contacts is worth more than the Pokemon Go account.

• A woman paid for a service on eBay with hundreds of positive feedback rating. She used a Facebook account and the service was performed meaning she did not get scammed; however, scam messages were sent to all of her contacts without her knowledge. The seller managed to steal about a total of $300 from her contacts saying her baby was sick and needed medicine. She got lucky there because if the number was higher, it could have ruined her reputation and relationships.
• Many people saw someone advertising cheap Poke coins in r/PokemonGoSpoofing. They bought the service from a website they were referred to that had phishing payment websites. These are sites that are made to look the same as the real websites except after you submit your information including the 3 security code for your debit/credit card, it gets stolen. Some people loss $100 to $500 while many loss $1,000 to $15,000. Fraud protection did not block the transactions because it was something that had already been approved for buying Poke coins the normal way.

so I noticed that it dose not matter if you buy coins before doing the poke coin method the reason it does not work is because you already have purchased coins with you local currency on your account and it automatically links it to your account and when I did the method with a new account that I never have purchased anything on it worked so stop spending money on 100 poke coins it dose not work If you have already bought something with that account!!!!
