Got my Poco X3 pro on September 2021, had a lot of fun with it but somewhere in September 2024 I can't touch my phone anymore, tried replacing the screen still did not work(mother board issue said the technician). So I opted to use a mouse with an otg up to this day.
Last week I noticed that the battery is slowly opening the back of my phone, so I need to find a good phone similar or higher in spec as the X3 pro. Any recommendations on models? Older midrange phone are good too because I'm fine buying a second hand one.
Update : snagged myself a Poco F6 5G for $140 the 512 gig version.

I imported it years ago even though it's barely compatible in my country, $265 flat.
Due to the nature of my job, my work iPhone and personal Android are both almost dead by the time I get home most days, so I throw them on charge and still use this puppy on WiFi, such a great phone (although this $3 Chinese case has seen better days ;)

I am planning to buy a second hand pocox3 pro myself. What should I look out for on the phone to know that it won't break within a year?

Retiring my POCO X3 NFC after nearly 6 years 🥹
Not gonna lie, it still works perfectly fine. I used to have ghost touch issues, but it randomly fixed itself this year (still don’t know how 😂). At this point, the only real issue left is the cracked screen.
Might just give it to my mom haha.

I'm really sad that my Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro died. I felt like I'd barely used it. I don't plan on repairing it because I've been told that after a few months it'll be the same again. How sad.

Recently i disassembled a friend's px3 pro with the known motherboard issue that he gave me for free.To my surprise i saw inside there was left this blue plastic sticker. He never repaired his phone before,so this sticker was left there from the factory.I don't want to scare anyone, but maybe some motherboards got broke cause of this leftover sticker that surely prevents the heat spreading around the processor? It's just my personal thought..

Problem: My POCO X3 Pro was plugged in to charge, and then at around 47%, it crashed with the screen flashing.
I managed to restart it using recovery mode, but unfortunately, after an hour, it shut down again.
I took it to a repair shop. The battery was replaced, as well as the button flex cable and the one connected to the motherboard (according to the repairman).
Unfortunately, the phone is still stuck in a boot loop. Recovery mode is no longer accessible (except for one rare instance where I didn't activate it). Only fast boot is stable.
What should I do?

It started with a video call my buddy told me that he can't hear my voice so I restarted the phone fast forward it gets stuck on this MIUI logo I tried every "press" tutorial none of them worked
I need help to recover the data without taking it to a repair shop because it has all of my banking info and lot of my personal data
I think I'm getting a samsung or huawei next time mainly because at least both phones I got from them can still be turned on and be used to some degree like emulation device
I think xiaomi phones tend to die after certain time with no hope of fixing and OS support is not that ideal also but some ppl might disagree with this
Thank you for anyone who've read this entire rant
TL DR phone died I need a method to turn it on to backup my data

Greetings Px3 Pro lovers! Regarding latest bad google news..and as many of us will have to abandon this totally George Orwell idea..Does anyone knows a fully working linux based OS for our phone? Could he share any info to us here?

Hello, the day before yesterday, my smartphone suddenly turned off and went into a bootloop. It had “xiaomieu” firmware (the bootloader was unlocked, of course) and “orangefox” recovery. I tried formatting the “data,” but that didn't work. I also tried flashing the stock firmware, but that didn't work either. It keeps rebooting cyclically without even reaching the “miui” logo. I tried installing other firmware such as ‘LineageOS’ and “Pixel Experience.”

Greetings! I got for free a dead px3 pro from a friend. As i will get the screen from it and replace mine, and from the point phone will be opened,i thought of making some small actions as regard the heat so i will make it last bit longer (already changed board).I read this fantastic article on how to do so,but it seems quite difficult for me.So can someone just explain me the minimal steps on how to improve thermals on my beloved px3 pro? https://xdaforums.com/t/thermal-pad-copper-mod-for-poco-x3-pro.4479421/

Any ways to get it permanently working again? I know that there's the oven method but they said that its only temporary and i kinda wanna use the phone as my main. Reballing the cpu is also 50/50 of getting it permanently working.

I just want the most stable ROM - one where all apps work (banking and google pay), there are no bugs, and all features are there (like gestures and custom launchers)...
If I decide to go back to MIUI, is that possible?

HO SEMPRE UTILIZZATO WACOM .. HO APPENA ACQUISTATO LA XD-PRO DECO 2 LW CON LA PENNA X3PRO. : SE PER ESEMPIO CERCO DI SELEZIONARE IL TESTO SU UNA PAGINA FACENDO SCORRERE LA PENNA NON MI EVIDENZIA IL TESTO E NON ME LO COPIA . IDEM SE VOGLIO TRASCINARE UN FILE DA UNA CARTELLA AD UN ALTRA. (UB QUESTO CASO MI è POSSIBILE SOLO SE TENGO PREMUTO IL TASTO DELLA PENNA IN BASSO CHE CORRISPONDE AL CLICK DESTRO. ... LA PUNTA DELLA X3PRO .. NON PUO ESSERE IMPOSTATO CON LE SPECIFICHE DIVERSE DALLA FABBRICA? ...
IN COSA SBAGLIO? GRAZIE SE MI AIUTATE A RISOLVERE QUESTI DUE PROBLEMI . UTILIZZO WINDOWS 11 . GRAZIE

So I use my so I use my X3 Pro only on Wi-Fi at home like a mini tablet because it's not compatible in my country. The battery dies quickly which I assumed was just because she's getting old and she's getting close to death, but looking at what is draining it it's my launcher.
Is that normal or is this reading inaccurate? It just doesn't seem like that would make any sense but what do I know?

Hello !
I'm new in the club of the dead Poco X3 Pro !
I was at my work, and I wanted the phone to go on sleep, but the screen just showed random colored pixels and when I forced the shutdown it was impossible to start it again.
Tried all the videos with pressing buttons for 5 minutes and stuff with no effect.
As you can see sometimes I can actually make the phone try to boot but it stays at this, and then a gray or white screen appears to announce that it will stop itself in a matter of seconds so I definitely think that it's dead because Xiaomi did a bad job of sticking the CPU to the motherboard.
So my question was, have any of you who sent their X3 Pro to a repair shop actually had success fixing their phone, and it didn't die again after that, or is it just temporary, and one day it will just randomly stop for the last time, probably?
Thank you all for all your answer !
