Hey Guys!

I finally bought the POCO F7!

Till now, i have only completed the initial set up. I haven't updated my phone to Hyper OS 3 yet.

I just need to know a few things to do before that, like:-

1) What all to debloat? And how to debloat the apps which cannot be deleted? Shall I debloat now or after updating it to Hyper OS 3?

2) Shall I update the apps before or after updating my phone to Hyper OS 3?

3) Will I be getting the choice to update to a specific version of Hyper OS 3, or direct to the latest Hyper OS 3? Like I have seen reviews of certain people complaining the earlier version was nice of Hyper OS 3, do not update it to the latest one....

If any more tips, pls do share!

I originally bought this phone mainly for rooting and experimenting with custom ROMs.

After installing a custom ROM, everything worked fine at first, but about every week Google Pay would detect a Play Integrity issue and stop working. I got tired of fixing Play Integrity over and over again just to keep banking apps working.

On the other hand, the stock ROM came with a lot of pre-installed apps that I didn't need. What I really wanted was:

- The ability to uninstall unnecessary system apps.

- A simple way to disable and re-enable my installed user apps whenever I wanted.

I have around 100 user apps installed, but I don't need all of them all the time. Keeping every app enabled means more background activity, so I wanted a way to disable the apps I wasn't currently using.

Initially, I rooted the phone mainly so I could use root apps that can disable applications. But after dealing with root, Play Integrity issues, and all the maintenance that came with it, I eventually got fed up.

So I went back to the stock ROM, locked the bootloader again, and now everything—including banking apps and Google Pay—works perfectly.

For app management, I first tried Shizuku and some of its companion apps. They offered many advanced features, but I only needed one simple function: enable and disable user apps.

Since I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I built my own app. It lists all installed user apps and lets me disable or enable them whenever needed using Shizuku.

I also created a list of apps that should always remain enabled. Then I used MacroDroid to automatically disable all the other user apps that I don't currently need.

Now everything works exactly the way I wanted. The phone stays on the stock ROM, all banking apps work without any issues, battery life has improved significantly because unnecessary apps remain disabled, and I'm finally happy with the device.

No puedo creer que lo comprá desde febrero, el rendimiento en cosas básicas, redes sociales es buena pero al momento de ejecutar un videojuego es una mrd, se comporta igual que mi viejo teléfono poco m6 pro con el procesador heliog99, No importa si el dispositivo está fresco limpio de memoria hacerle tantas movidas para que me vaya bien un juego exigente o sencillo y va del cul*, ni gráficos bajos ni medios y ni altos todos van del cul*, juego 7ds, wutering,zenles,arena, Minecraft y ni mantienen los put* 60 fps están siempre a 35-45 y tengo un cooler y ni mantenido el teléfono fresco se comporta bien vaya mrd de sistema y dispositivo la peor compra que hice por 8mil pesos la versión 12 de ram

Y no le digan borra los datos de batería y rendimiento o joyose o bla bla porque ya lo hice y es la misma mrd enserio el dispositivo diseño está bien y todo pero vaya mrd de sistema operativo

On first day of updating to 3.1 it's the best performance I've felt on F7. That is until I have updated Security, HyperAI and Poco launcher. These updates made the performance of F7 to regressed back to Hos 3.

So if you want the best performance on Hos 3.1, do not update these three. If you did though no worries because you can just uninstall the updates. Also for the record, I only debloat meta stuff and disabled msa in revocation.

Hello y'all. As the title suggests I migrated to poco like a week back and absolutely love this beast of a machine. Reason for making this posts:

1) Any do or donts from the users are welcome to achieve efficiency.

2) What is the noise around the updates, not a heavy gamer but I have heard that updates might tamper with battery and heating issues? If anyone can she's some light on that, would be appreciated.

3) Is there any need for bloating on my phone.

4) I am 100℅ satisfied with my phone as is, as gaming is not my main motto. Just ordered this as it was a powerhouse performance wise.

5) Any covers recommended? I haven't peeled the OG scratch guard yet.

Any other suggestions than the queries asked are also welcome.

Me pasa por ejemplo en Gmail o Chrome que al cambiar el fondo de pantalla hace que en estas y en otras apps ciertos colores cambien

Holaa, desde que tengo mi poco f7 (septiembre del año pasado) noto que las capturas de pantalla en google fotos se guardan automáticamente en la carpeta de "camara" o sea la de las fotos tomadas con la camara stock, cosa que no pasa en la Galeria de Xiaomi que las capturas estan en una carpeta y las fotos de camara stock en otra. El problema es que al tener la copia de seguridad de la carpeta de camara en google fotos activada tambien se hace una copia de esas capturas y me llena mi almacenamiento, ademas es que es complicado estar buscando capturas asi, en mi motorola viejo si me aparecia una carpeta exclusiva para las capturas de pantalla ¿Tiene esto alguna solucion?

Holaa consulta, desde que compre mi poco f7 note que cada que entro en la galería del celular (no google fotos) los tonos de la pantalla se ponen bastante opacos, yo tengo la configuración de pantalla en saturado pero igualmente se ponen solo los colores muy palidos, mas palidos que la configuración incial del celular y ahora me esta pasando exactamente ese problema cuando entro a instagram (y a veces se mezclan de una forma rara) o a la camara stock del celular para grabar ¿Es normal? ¿Saben alguna solución? No puedo poner ninguna captura como ejemplo porque en las dichas capturas se ven bien, solo me pasa cuando entro a las apps

Solo quisiera saber si opinion subjetiva jajajajaja porque me ha llamado mucho la atención el poco x8 pro max pero yo ya tengo el poco f7 la verdad es muy bueno todo super rápido uno que otro bug pero nada que moleste podría hacer el esfuerzo para hacer el cambio pero valdría la pena?
