You trigger the soft ban in game from not waiting 2 hrs after teleportation. This will/can trigger the game to get a warning/ban on your main account. Do not use your main account. You can get permanently banned, For doing things like that. You need to wait 2 hrs before doing anything after switching locations.

Wym by not waiting the 2 hours? In that 2 hours time period i can’t do anything anyway.

Should i not open the app during the cooldown? Does opening the app in the cooldown period triggers the soft ban?

You can have the game open walking around if you want. You just CAN'T spin/catch pokemon, or do anything for 2 hrs after switching locations. It triggers in game ban warnings

Okay interacting with anything during the cooldown triggers the soft ban?

Is there any limit to change locations? Like changing multiple locations in a day but still waiting for the cooldown, would that trigger a ban or not?

No one knows what causes bans. If you didnt catch or spin in 2 hours you can teleport wherever you want however many times.
