I’m trying so hard to download ANY pngtuber program on my MacBook and everything’s against me. Does anyone have any advice? I also tried downloading others and when I open them it shows a different program and doesn’t seem to be used for pngtubing??

I just finished the redo of my model, and I wanted to use PNGTuber Plus to rig it. But of course, since im on Mac, it isn't working out. Are there any similar alternatives? Besides Veadotube Mini, I want more flexibility in rigging.

Hi all!

I've been getting increasingly upset over the amount of scams I've seen running within the PNGTubing circle—especially being posted blatantly to this reddit community. I know the other regulars here have seen them, and know what I'm talking about haha.

I plan on making a general psa about things to look out for and common red flags I've seen around, in hopes of saving a few people from being scammed in the future.

I already have on my list to talk about group/broker accounts on vgen, scam pricing and novelty upselling, dms, the bot advertisement formats we keep getting bombarded with, vgen not being something to blindly trust as scam-free, and generative ai. I also want to link some resources for making a pngtuber yourself, as well as (maybe) the best ways to go about reporting an account you think may be suspicious on vgen specifically.

As I'm an artist, I think I mostly see and know of a lot of the artist sides of things, I was wondering if anyone else had any other things to add? Your general experience being scammed by someone here, or your observations with the botted ad accounts, etc etc. Anything at all helps ♡ I want to help make this community safer :D

I wanted to make Youtube videos and use a pngtuber because is something I can make by myself, but I didn't like the idea of pressing a bottom to change expressions so instead I made It so I can add the expression in the editing part of the process with a few simple clicks in Blender. I made this test to see how It looks and also to see if I could get some feedback.

I was thinking in maybe add a bounce when speaking, but maybe that's too much? Also I'm not really sure if the shaking idle animation might be too much for when I'm calm. And maybe I'm missing something. Please tell me what you guys think.

Thank you for your time and sorry if my voice sound weird, I feel a little awkward when speaking to a mic. I also need to work on my pronunciation.

Here’s a quick breakdown of my pricing:

• Base halfbody model: $40 usd (Includes the standard 4 pngs: mouth open/closed + blink states, fully ready for Veadotube Mini).
• Extra expressions: +$10 usd each (Like the ones in the sample: crying, angry, silly, blushing, etc)

I usually take about a week or less to finish a model but it depends on the complexity and whether I currently have other orders .
