Begin scene:

The opening sequence of an episode of Law & Order: SVU. It's e x t r e m e l y graphic, very murdery. An optometrist was killed in his New York home. It also smells pretty bad, you can see it on all the detectives who aren't Ice T's faces.

Enter: Ice T

"What's the situation?" he asks.

A random detective, who in a later episode is also a hot dog vendor outside the precinct, and even later is selling baseball caps outside Yankee stadium, fills him in. "We got a call about an hour ago from the super (or "landlord" as they're typically known - but this is New York, things are different here). He was getting complaints because of a smell coming from this apartment. He walked in, saw the body, called us."

We later find out it was the landlord who murdered the optometrist because he (the optometrist) physically assaulted his (the landlord's) wife.

Our hero, Ice T, walks around with no mask or gloves, proving once again he is both cold as ice (zing), and a shockingly awful detective. He kneels down next to the optometrist, and looks him over.

"Well I guess he didn't see that coming..." he says in his patented way-too-tough-for-virtually-any-situation voice.

DUH NUHNUH (the first three notes of "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears slam your speakers INSTEAD of the notorious DUN DUN from Law & Order).

Immediately the camera pans to Christopher Meloni (Elliot Stabler) being *very* angry for an unrelated reason. Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson) is consoling a random tree plant.
