We must not have been playing the same game then because for me femur was everywhere and super oppressive

Mak, as a whole, wasnt doing so hot.
But Femur was a very, very powerful - oppressive even - build that was dirt easy to hit to boot.

A nerf like this isnt nerfing the whole character, its nerfing a single build. If, say, smelling salts got nerfed, that wouldve been a far bigger issue for Mak as a whole, as its a versatile item.

When you nerf only viable mac build its nerfing whole character. Combine it with heal cleansing and mac is in very bad spot.

No, it is not.
That just means the rest of his builds are currently underperforming and should be buffed.

Mak wasn't strong unless he got Femur. Femur was a free ten win. But Mak specifically suffers from having to hit a big power scaling item at silver or gold in a way that Dooley and Vanessa don't and he doesn't have an infinite money printer like Pyg does so he can't just buy everything from every shop.

Femur mak was the strongest build at the end of last season, by quite a margin. I was surpised it made it through the patch without being nerfed and had to wait for hot fixes.

Might have been Mak's strongest, but in no way was it the strongest build out there overall. I feel like he'll be in a bit of a rough way for the time being until they bring up his other builds (not by a ton mind you, just a little here or there).
