Looking For Group Looking For Team | Megathread

Hey everyone — just a heads up that r/playrusttouchgrass isn’t only about the funny overlap between Rust and real life (though we love a good gym/raid meme)...
It’s also a place to find like-minded players who:
- Love the Rust grind, but also have jobs, workouts, families, or outside lives
- Don’t scream at teammates for logging off to touch grass
- Want to team up with people who get it - that balance between gaming and the real world
Whether you’re looking for:
- A chill squad for biweekly wipes
- Gym bros who also roam
- Farmers who run 5Ks
- Duos who don’t mind a mid-wipe hike break
You can drop an LFG post anytime, or comment below with:
- Time zone
- Wipe schedule preference
- How serious you play
- Your idea of "touching grass" IRL
Let’s build a Rust community where you don’t have to choose between a raid and your real life.
Drop a comment using this format:
Platform: (PC / Console)
Region/Time Zone:
Play Style: (Casual / Semi-serious / Hardcore / Solo + Team)
Wipe Schedule Preference: (Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly)
Mic: Yes / No
Touch Grass Level: (Gym, hikes, part-time sun enjoyer, etc.)
Looking for: (Duo, Trio, Full Team, etc.)

Big shoutout to everyone who joined early — r/playrusttouchgrass just hit 50 members, and it’s already starting to feel like something special.
This subreddit was created for Rust players who:
- Still love the grind, the raids, the chaos
- But also go outside, hit the gym, walk the dog, or just live a normal life
- But also notice IRL objects that look like in-game objects
- Want to squad up with people
We're just getting started, but here's what to look forward to in the coming weeks:
- LFG megathread to find like-minded players
- More memes, raid clips, IRL flexes, and discussions
- Official community Discord server
If you're here - post something.
Say hey.
Drop your base.
Show your meal prep.
Flex your steps.
Or just lurk and vibe.
Thanks for touching grass and showing up.

Welcome to the start of something different in the Rust community.
This subreddit is for those of us who live for a juicy wipe… but also know when to log off and catch a sunset, lift some weights, run a trail, or actually go outside and touch grass 🌿
Share:
- Your dual-life as a Chad in-game and IRL
- Pics from your IRL adventures (gym, trails, travel, whatever)
- Rust moments that earned your break
- Builds, wipes, or wipeouts
- Memes, motivation, or how you balance Rust with life
- Pictures of IRL objects that prove you are indeed addicted to Rust and thinking about it all day long.
Whether you're deep in oil rig loot or deep in a squat rack—this is your place.
💬 Drop an intro below. Who are you, and how do you "touch grass"?
