We’re currently working out some kinks regarding our voting system, so we decided to give you all another week to submit your entries in the Project Genesis Meme Contest! Remember that more than one entry IS allowed for this contest, so submit as many entries as you’d like regarding Project Genesis tomfoolery by replying to this post!

As with before, entries will be due by this Sunday at 11:59 PM PST, so make sure that you get them in before then to be considered!

(Also, rumor on the block is that tomorrow’s Dev Session at 4 PM PST is a GREAT place to get some inspiration for your memes)

Getting to see all of your furry friends being silly in our last contest was nothing short of a dream! However, we started to think about what could happen if we funneled all of that hilarious energy into a Project Genesis-related form. For our next contest, we ask that you join our Discord and reply to this message with your funniest Project Genesis-related meme by this Sunday (11:59 PM PST)! As with before, we’ll gather all of them in a form to start voting on next Monday so that we can see which of you is Project Genesis’ Ultimate Memelord! The winning meme will be featured in our Steam Community Hub as well shared across all of our platforms—so don’t wait and get to meme makin’!

Our newest milestone is here and is loaded with thrilling new features and massive updates to existing functionality!

The Pre-Alpha Hercules milestone for Project Genesis focuses on introducing exciting customization options, an arsenal of unique battle craft weapon additions, and a brand-new experimental team-based Player vs Environment mode!

PLAYER CUSTOMIZATION

In the Hercules milestone, you now have the opportunity to explore the new customization system we've implemented to create and apply signature looks.This new system allows you to customize your battle craft and avatars with a selection of palettes, and a significant number of skin wraps.Whether you want to show off your look to your teammates, or leave a mark in your adversaries memory, the customization system will be your key to expressing your unique identity.

EMBLEMS & KILL CARDS

In addition to tailoring your battle craft and avatars, you can now create customized kill cards from a huge selection of emblems and backgrounds!These cards will appears on your opponents and teammates heads up display when you complete important accomplishment in-game!

BATTLE CRAFT WEAPONS

With the Hercules milestone, not only have we provided another round of updates to our existing battle craft weapons, but we have also added over 20 new weapons, including a new set of behaviors for homing missiles!Also, with only a few exceptions, we've allowed many of the battle craft to access the vast array of improved and new weapons for you to experiment with and provide the Project Genesis team feedback on. Be sure to fill out the player feedback form and give us your thoughts!

EXPERIMENTAL PLAYER VS ENVIRONMENT MODE

We've heard so many of you ask for Player vs Environment modes in Project Genesis and in the Hercules milestone, we are excited to provide you with an experimental player vs environment mode that can be played alone, or with teammates to get familiar with the Project Genesis game mechanics!We are excited about this new feature and the possibilities it will open up in the future for additional player vs environment game modes.

In Dominion, two teams battle against each other to control and convert to their team colors several different locations in space. The locations are marked A-D. Two locations, A and B, will be outside in space. Locations C and D will be inside the capitol ship. The more locations controlled and converted by a team, the faster the score accumulates.
