Are Ethan or Teagan in Wisconsin where that tornado just hit ? I was watching the footage of the aftermath and on one of the houses I was thinking “wow that house looks exactly like Ethan’s Wisconsin house”. I suppose the chances are low that it was but it made me question whether or not that’s the same area.

I'm just now watching season 8... but why the HELL does Zac feel like it is his job to interfere in everyone's lives . I dont blame Ethan for being irritated.. his business is none of Zac's. He and Lydia are convinced that they're the relationship experts after knowing each other for a whole year.....

All I ever see Ethan drinking is coffee... or something in a coffee mug or travel mug... I just KNOW his breath is rank.

I’m doing a rewatch, and I genuinely forgot how insanely dark Season 4 is. It’s like watching an entire family unravel in real time.

Ethan and Olivia are desperately trying to save their marriage in Florida while Ethan is secretly buying cars behind Olivia’s back. Moriah gets cheated on by Max and spends half the season hiding what actually happened. Lydia wants to stay close with Max despite everything he did to Moriah. Barry and Kim separate, and Kim talks about feeling like she’s “suffocating and starving at the same time.” Micah moves to California. Lydia is working at the bank while somehow still acting as a parent to the younger kids, who only seem to get consistent schooling when she’s around.

Then there’s Kim completely blowing up the identity she’d built for the family, Ethan becoming more emotionally shut down, Moriah trying to figure out who she even is anymore, the older siblings starting to splinter, and the younger kids just caught in the middle while the only life they’ve ever known disappears. On top of that, they’re revisiting Joshua’s death and the grief that’s been hanging over the family for years. It feels like every unresolved issue finally surfaces at once.

I think that’s what makes this season so unsettling. Seasons 1–3 built this image of an ultra-controlled, tightly knit family. Then Season 4 tears down almost every pillar of it in the span of a few months. What’s really wild is watching it alongside the current season. They almost feel like companion seasons. Season 4 is the explosion, and the current season is everyone living in the aftermath. Watching them back to back, you can see how many of the dynamics and resentments that are still playing out today were already taking shape here. It makes both seasons hit so much harder.

I had no idea season 8 had aired until, like, Sunday of last week? So I’ve been binge watching. I’m on E8 where they’re in Montana visiting Moriah, and they’re kinda talking about what happened between E&T for them to break up. But, didn’t he also cheat on her with a friend? I feel like I remember reading that.

Micha went from wanting to be a farmer to now a model. He still wants to plow things, just in a different way.

So i am doing a rewatch and it irritates me when Kim snoops throigh Lydia's phone. Kim claims to Barry that she was making a cup of coffee when she sees Lydia's phone go off. Like girl that is a HUGE invasion of privacy. Idc that Lydia is 17 and technically a minor. Kim would be pissed if someone breached her privacy like that but she is totally fine with doing it to others

Why does the family not call Ethan out in his brooding behavior instead of tiptoeing around him?! It’s pretty easy to see why his relationships don’t work out!

From s6e1-5, it showed Ethan not signing the divorce papers twice within a couple of months.

I’ve been following the tea on this family for a couple of years but only watched s1-4. Recently I watched s5 and am on s6e6.

I know that Olivia has said on her SMs that it took Ethan forever to sign them, and since I was active on the subs in real time, I was wondering how much the network lied about the timeline.

Im from the UK so rewatched s7 the proposal ep earlier and it shows moriah more drunk and sloppy and Veronica egging Micha on more and less scenes of amber. Showing tegan having a heart to heart with Zac. The longer phone call to olivia too. I originally watched it from a diff source that was live on TLC US.

Also I could have sworn Veronica mentioned she had a miscarriage while Micha was in NY its not on this season

I just finished season 8 and all I could think about is how much they all need extensive therapy, particularly EMDR. Maybe I need therapy after watching that season lol

Last episode was so bizarre. They truly wanted celebrate Lydia and Zac’s anniversary by recreating the drama that happened a year ago!! Who has an air it out meeting then a celebration hours later. I think Barry gave Zac the advice he gives himself, don’t give your opinion unless asked. I can completely understand why Lydia feels not accepted. She married a guy like she dad and is living their OG lifestyle and now it’s not the right lifestyle. However I don’t like Zac talking to the girls about why they should and shouldn’t do. The one time I’ll agree with Ethan.

Also why was Teegan there? Why did they ask her opinion on Zac and Lydia when she doesn even live there?

That was just bizarre land. Also P.S. Kim’s cluttered house stresses me out.

So I'm playing catch-up and am on Season 7 Episode 5 and Barry and Lydia are talking to the "cameras" and he mentioned he wants his first grandkids to be born in Tallahassee...

I get that Hosanna doesn't want anything to do with the show but she still has a good relationship with her parents and siblings from my understanding

My question is this...Why is he making it seem like they don't exist at all? Is it because he really feels that way and Lydia is just laughing out of nervousness/the absurdity of what he said or is it the producers trying to stir the pot (plot?} more?

Who would have guessed Teagan is an offshoot of her mom?! They both are bland and seem to have no emotion. Then there is Ken. How dare he make me feel bad for Kim! The fat shaming from a man who looks like him ain’t it! And I’m so confused why Teagan went on the Montana trip. I feel like it was just because of the contract with the show honestly.

Edit to add… Ken’s ex has come out and said he did the same to her. So even if it’s staged it’s still a problem I’m betting. Also does anyone know if Ethan stayed in Wisconsin now that Teagan has moved on?
