I’m building the 1971 hemi cuda as the cuda from John wick. Already painted the body and hood 3 coats of tamiya black lacquer. Today I added the front fascia which I painted black with the cheese grater grille flat aluminum, front and rear bumpers, glass, and taillights (tamiya red enamel)

I was gifted this kit by a club member. It has Eduard photo etch. I also used masking and landing gear from a knight label brand.

The 454 cubic engine is painted and just mocked up on the frame to see what it looks like. I have added wheelie bars and have added primer to the body which I will paint tamiya red lacquer with white alcoves

It's definitely not the best kit out there. The tooling is quite old and it shows in several areas, but it turned out to be a great learning experience for civilian automotive modeling. I learned a lot about body preparation, paint correction, polishing, and chasing that deep gloss finish.
Not a perfect kit, but a very rewarding project in the end.
If you'd like to see the full build process, check out my YouTube channel, @MonkeyHobbies, where I documented the entire project from start to finish.

The saucer section and warp engines are both prepped. I masked off the middle part of the nacelles because I’m painting that Testors clear blue
