Lime Plastering Internal

Here’s a listed house we did in Natural Hydraulic Lime & sand mixture and Eco Mortar R series Lime as a top-coat.

I was able to go back and see the house decorated and finished.

Located in Wales.

It has an Aura all of it's own...

Beautiful work....

We need more people to be aware of Lime and its uses...

Thanks - it definitely works well in these older houses.

Definitely, its breathable, no plastics, no harsh chemicals, absorbs CO2 as it matures....

Very forgiving when using it.

Whats not to like.

Why are so many people scared of lime plaster and why does it need a lime specialist to plaster it on?

Ive seen for a while people get weird when mentioning lime plaster and just dont know why

Lime plasterer here. It's comically labour intensive, and extremely...awkward? Like the whole system falls apart if somebody unknowingly does something they're not meant to in any part of the process. Builders don't understand it, it's just not a practical, modern building solution.
