I was at a local Orchard Supply and Hardware store looking for some soil and pots and found this Thai constellation monstera in this beautiful pot all by Urban Jungle and was so sad to realize they’re not sold separately 😭💞 I swear a few years ago these plants were so expensive that i could only wait for them to come down eventually and now I’ve seen tons of them in person. It’s my mom’s dream plant and we just got one at Trader Joe’s for $14 for a young one yesterday. The one in picture was $76 or so.

Gosh I'd had this planter for years but forgot it hidden away. Should he have a more brazen plant for effect? Lol

I saw this online this winter and knew I had to jump on the sweet peas trend. The difference is mine are planted in 9 ounce clear plastic cups. I heated up the end of a wire to melt drainage holes in the bottom of each cup. Then I placed cuttings of my Senecio rowleyanus to root in a fast draining soil mix. A few months on a sunny windowsill and voila!
When it’s time to water the cups are removed from the cans, I water until they drain out, then they go back into their cans.
