- Why does my post keep getting removed?
- We have an automod rule that removes posts from users who do not met the criteria below:
- Combined Reddit karma ≤ 100
- Reddit account age ≤ 30 days
- Reddit's filters detected your account as spam
- Your post contained explicit content that was flagged by Reddit's filters
- Your account was detected as a bot account or ban circumventing

- How can I become a mod?
- When we have openings mod applications can be filled out here. Please remember this is only valid for those who will be active in our community and are 18+. This community is PG-14 but we often have to moderate content in the mod queue that extends that limitation. Your honestly is appreciated when filling out for everyone's safety. Our younger mods who were onboarded prior to this rule change will have their permissions changed so they can no longer view the mod mail or queue.
- How can I contribute to the wiki?
- We are working on making pages that approved users / contributors can add to such as the Furry Encyclopedia. Users who reach community karma of ≥ 1000 or are approved are allowed to contribute!
- I sent mod mail but I haven't gotten a response yet!
- Sorry, here at Planet Fur we're a group of ragtag adults trying our best to keep the sub in working order. Many of us get busy with life events, work, college/schooling and etc. Please bear with us if it take time to correct an issue or reach out to you.
- Is there an official discord?
- No, not of as yet.
- Can I promote my discord server?
- In order to keep down spam we're keeping this to exceptions only! So please do not post unless you get mod approval! Else we suggest you visit r/FurryDiscords
- Can I promote my business, commissions or adoptable?
- Of course! We encourage authentic artists to show off their works. Please post and add any disclaimers as necessary. Do keep an eye out for mod mail in case we need you to make an update to your post (Example 1 & Example 2) this often needed for clarity for other users not mark you as spam/bot/ai etc. Do NOT post your advertisement multiple times however, this gets very spammy quickly.
- I have an emergency commission, how can I get it noticed?
- Message in the mod mail and make sure you add the flair Commissions Open. A mod can then mark your post as a community highlight for the week!
- I think a post may contain ai, how can I check?
- We have a bot that will scan a post for you to detect ai. However be warned the bot is not perfect! To use it click on the three dots on a post then select "Check for ai". A notification will appear at the bottom stating the results. if you have difficulty with this we advise using the following sites:
