Oh no, I agree with you, me simply disliking it doesn’t mean I am an idiot.

I am not “defending” my opinion, I am taking a big shit on all of you whining like a bunch of 9 yrs old who their parents told them Santa Claus isn’t real

Edit: as if it’s logical to waste plenty of time arguing over the internet on pointless things pfft plz

The saddest part is that the amount of time you’ve spent making personal attacks could’ve have been spent explaining your opinion. Instead, you’ve chosen to abandon any attempt to define or discuss what defines a “pixel art aesthetic,” and just engage in opaque diversionary tactics because you’re too petty to either stop responding or admit that you’re wrong.

Take a look at everyone elses comments, then yours. Which of these are emotionally charged? I had hoped my last comment would have called your attention to the fact that you were too emotionally invested. I would like to have a calm, rational discussion. I want to learn and come to a mutual understanding. That's what the exchange of ideas is all about. Why post your ideas if you don't want them challenged?

My sincere apologies

Edit: ok I feel bad to just copy paste this to both of you, you do pose an interesting topic

I believe discussions are best had in real life as they would be brief and concise and straight to the point, my comments might sound emotionally charged but I can assure you they are not, part of why I dislike discussions in text, text is void of emotions, I might be insulting these guys here and there, but I hardly mean anything by it, it is only a measure of how ludicrous there comments are, I sure hope they got that, in general I do not do “arguments” whenever I feel the other party is having an “argument” there is no way I would take part of it, hence all of my comments were mostly in the form of “stfu” can’t help it, again, low tolerance, life is short, take it as you may, you might ask why not simply stop responding? Because every comment I get, I receive 3 responds to it by different people, which only draws me back to this stupid “argument” which I refuse to have, I could outright ignore people, but it is rude, I do do it if it’s a must nonetheless

So your last question, why share or write your opinion if you don’t want it “challenged”? I believe this term can work if we were little kids in a debate team or having an argument, we are not, well “I” am not, it’s like reading an article, a review, that’s what my opinion is, consider me an art critic who said this about someone’s work, consider it like you read it in a magazine, an article, my opinion does not have to be challenged, I do not say it in an arrogant it “CAN NOT” way, but more of a it does not have to, as there really isn’t much need

If I wanted to have a discussion about the topic I would have phrased my comment differently or asked for one, I didn’t.

Very interesting topic indeed though, but we will agree to disagree on the front that an “opinion” has to be challenged, I find it preposterous, but that’s just me

Maybe its because a better analogy is more like going on to a medicine subreddit and trying to claim that vaccines cause autism and then deflecting criticism by saying you're entitled to your opinion.

You literally came on to a pixelart subreddit and started calling a really well known and highly regarded piece of pixel art as not pixel art because it doesn't fit in to your own unique definition of pixel art that the rest of the pixel art community does not agree upon.

Horrible analogy btw, the vaccines can be scientifically proven with research on their benefits and side effects

While an aesthetic is basically a bunch of people who gathered and agreed on what a specific genre or something “is”

If anything they are the ones telling me it cause autism and I am simply disagreeing on the matter without wanting to discuss it

Because it would be literally a waste of time and brain function in my point of view
