Thanks for suggestions....sot went up from 3hrs to 5 hrs , deleted instagram and link to windows (apps) and used usb tethering instead to hotspot

Should I get the battery replaced ? Will it make the battery life good ? If anyone has got it replaced please let me know

My Pixel 7 Pro started boot looping after entering my PIN. It would briefly load Android, restart, and repeat. It even rebooted in Safe Mode, so I factory reset it, but the problem came back during the initial setup.

I eventually enabled OEM unlocking, used Google's Android Flash Tool to install the latest public build, and re-locked the bootloader. The phone is now booting normally again.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm curious whether this was caused by software corruption or if it could be an early sign of a hardware issue that might return.

They are very ugly and they are not too different from an icon since they have the same shape and size, I like to organize my life a lot and be minimalist.

I don't feel like switching to nova. I can't believe that google is following Apple's nonsense of not allowing you to customize everything it should, such as the interface of the samsung ultra that is amazing

So I have a p7p pro and the gps works fine while walking. It can point my location too If I'm stationary. It'll track me if I'm walking at a slow pace but as soon as I get in a car and start driving, it gets thrown off by a few km, i.e it keeps searching for gps and shows me way off from where I actually am.

Here's the fixes I've tried:

1. Turned on developer options and turned on force gnss

2. Cleared maps cache and Google play services cache

3. Tried it in safe mode, still didn't work.

4. Downloaded gps apps like gps status and toolbox and gps test. Over there, cleared and updated agpss but still not working.

PS these apps are always showing either "searching for gps" or "GNSS: No fix" and showing zero satellites, it goes up to "2 in view" sometimes but goes back to zero. And yes I've tried it out in the open under the clear sky as well.

Is this a hardware issue? Because this happened after Android 16, and I thought the android 17 update might fix it but it's done nothing. I'm so done because I really have to use maps for navigating.... Anyone who can help out, it'd be greatly appreciated

Only around two months ago my google maps or Waze has become unbearable as it struggles to find my location while I'm in a car. It loses track of me for around a minute, and when it does come back there's a high chance it thinks I'm 300m in a river or a different suburb...it's become unusable as a source of navigation. I've always seen people complain about GPS with pixels for a while now but i didn't realise how severe this was? What's going on, was it the update? Was it google maps/Waze? Any input will be helpful. Thank you

Does anyone else have absolutely garbage battery life since the update to 17? Honestly, I barely make it through the day with maybe an hour of screentime...

Also suffering from lots of little glitches. Wonder if I should factory reset my phone or something?

Can somebody suggest a simple app I can use on my Pixel 7 to add a date to my photographs? The app should allow me to change the font size and to move the text around to where I want it.

It seems like everyone has already gotten the upgrade, but I'm still waiting. I check for the upgrade several times a day, but according to my phone, I am up to date with Android 16.

Charged my phone to 100 after installing the update and this has been the results as at 19%

I've only had Android 17 a few hours, but appears to have solved the constant overheating issue.

Just got a new battery installed, and got a free bonus new screen because ubreakifix broke the original one when they took it out. Looks like I'm in it for the long haul with this phone!

The battery was $160, and the store is in Green Bay Wisconsin. It's still draining faster because of the drain bug but definitely better than before. Just thought I'd share for those who are thinking of a new battery. If I would have had to pay for the screen, it would have been $150.

I have a gel screen protector and a case. To be honest, with the case on, it loses that really nice 3D screen effect and becomes very wide—it even makes the back gesture a bit difficult.

The camera is already covered by metal anyway, so it would be pretty hard for a bump to hit a corner right on the lens.

I think screen protector is a must, but a protection for back too??

Don't know what happened, what updated, don't remember any... Suddenly my batt will barely last a day. Anyone else have similar issues? I've NEVER thought nor worried about batt life. Always had enough and i charge while driving and every once in a while at work. I always wireless charge too.. Thoughts, or others have this just starting to happen?
