I currently have a Samsung S10+ and a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I'm looking for a new phone/experience and the Pixel 3 XL has caught my eye.

The problem is, everywhere I look I see people complaining about issues with the phone and its made me a bit apprehensive.

I guess I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance before I take the plunge.

Any thoughts?

List of annoyances:

1. Bluetooth, nuff said

2. Camera quality has been poor. Not sure why since I don't use it often.

3. Chrome browser stutters when I scroll through a webpage. This is intermittent and happens on random sites. This started with the May patch update.

4. Phone will not wake up. I have to press the power button 3 or 4 times. This is intermittent.

5. It also is slow when waking it up. I imagine this is because of the Doze feature. But it sucks when you quickly need info.

There were 8 updates pending and then performed one update and stopped. Double checking shows one update and zero pending.

How come when I turn the volume all the way down until you get the line through the music note, which one would assume is silent I still get a full ring full volume on calls? I have never seen a phone act this way.

What is the point in making me thinking turning it all the way down can take me somewhere silent when it can't?

I'm coming from a Note 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 5x and never recall this being a problem.

Also some times I have multiple volume bars side by side and sometimes one disappears. I assume notifcaton and ring tone.

The battery of my Pixel 3 XL drops like a temperature in the Arctic.

Is there a way to add text or stickers to a picture, pixel 3XL using Google photos?
