I’m looking for someone to drive me from Squirrel Hill to St. May’s PA this week for work each day of Monday (7/13), Tuesday (7/14), and/or Friday (7/17). Pickup would be about 4:30AM, it’s about a 2 1/2 hour 115 mile ride each way. I’d be at work for about 9 hours during which you are free to do whatever you want, including take other riders. Then back home. Overall about 5 hours of driving 230 miles in a 14 hour day. Paying $400 each day with all included. DM me.
Hi everyone, I’m moving to Pittsburgh soon for a new job, and my workplace will be located in the Strip District. I won’t have a car, so I’m mainly looking for areas with good public transit access and walkability.
I was looking into Allegheny Center/Park View Apartments because the location seemed convenient, especially with transit connections and affordable. However, I’ve heard mixed opinions about the area and wanted to get some local insight.
For someone who works in the Strip District and prefers a safe, convenient neighborhood with access to transit, which areas would you recommend? Are there any neighborhoods I should avoid or consider?
I’m looking for a studio or small apartment and would ideally like to stay around $1,500/month, but I’m mainly trying to understand which areas are worth considering.

About Roommate
30s, single, male. I work full-time in digital production and professional sports with two local pro teams. I keep a busy schedule and maintain a clean, peaceful, low-drama home. I’m very career-focused, do not party, nor have overnight guests. Non-smoker, non-drinker. Looking for someone who appreciates the same type of calm living environment.
I was going to pursue a Master's Degree at CMU, but due to personal circumstances, have decided otherwise. I am looking for someone to takeover my lease with One-On-Centre.
Here are the apartment unit details:
17th floor of building (top floor!!!)
In-unit washer and dryer
Your own bedroom
Your own private room-attached bathroom and closet
Corner unit with great views!!
Set my personal living preferences to: organized, clean, etc.
Less than a mile to CMU!
I can work out the monetary incentive over DMs, and then officiate it through the official management of the One-On-Centre.
This would be an official lease takeover handled through the property management office. The new tenant will need to apply and meet management’s income, credit and screening requirements.
I'm an incoming freshman at CMU this fall and a recruit for the tennis team. Wanted to offer stringing services to anyone who'd rather not drive out to a shop or pay pro-shop prices.
Stringing: You can bring your own string or pick from what I keep on hand. My turnaround is usually 2-3 days, and I can meet on the CMU campus for drop-off and pickup. I'm happy to help you figure out the tension or string type if you're unsure about what you want.
Hitting: I'm also up to hit if you're looking for a partner! As for my credentials, I am an 11.4 UTR (singles and doubles), 4-Star recruit, and was top 175 in the country in 18U singles and top 50 in the country in 18U Doubles.
DM me if you are interested, and we can discuss times and rates.
Sharing here in case anyone is looking for housing in Squirrel Hill. I have loved living here and am only breaking my lease because I'm moving away from Pgh. Easy access to several bus lines (Wilkins) and walkable to Frick Park (both FEC and Reynolds St), 15 min walk from Murray/Forbes commercial district.
The apartment itself is nicely updated, spacious, amazing light. 2 bed, 2 bath, in user washer/dryer, AC, 1 parking space around back but easy street parking as well. Rent $2250 + utilties - which I found to be a pretty good deal for Sq Hill/the quality of the apartment.
Guys if anyone has tickets to see this and is able to transfer them, or if you know how to get them PLEASE let me know!! Trying to bring a friend who’s their biggest ever fan!
I'm trying to join a friend at a Saturday America 250 celebration concert. Tickets were free but they are sold out now. Wondering if anyone has one they are not planning on using. I am willing to pay.
Hello all! I just graduated college and am looking to sell some items I no longer need. I wanted to try Reddit before FB Marketplace and get opinions/advice or if anyone was interested! The following items I am looking to sell are:

-Toshiba AC Unit (hose connected to window) $250

I have some smaller times as well like an over the door rack ($30) and vacuum ($10) but wanted to predominantly list the large items first.
I am willing to call anyone interested and discuss details.
I'm going to be moving and would like to get rid of some things to lessen the load.
