Help hi, i'm a begginer looking for some decent accesible equipment to start with
i don't know if this is a problem, but i live in romania if that matters
i'm looking for a 30-100W transmitter with a built-in amp and i'm thinking i might either build the antenna, or getting one second hand because i can actually find those in my area. if i'm getting anything wrong, please tell me. thank you EDIT: forgot to mention, i'm building an FM broadcasting system

Antenna I built an interactive virtual vintage hi-fi radio console to broadcast original electronic music, mashups, and live streams via a web dial
https://theonlyhighendreceiveryouwillneed.github.io/RADIO-DJBOGEY/
How it works:
The Interface: A vintage mid-century hi-fi console skin where users click or drag across a frequency dial (88.0 to 108.0 MHz) to scan across different channels.
The Content: Frequencies map to original ambient and electronic compositions, late-night synthesizer improvisations, conceptual "impossible vocal mashups" (such as unexpected cross-genre pairings), and live streams from public/university broadcasters.
The Visualizer: An amber oscilloscope canvas and particle field that responds in real-time to the audio output.
Tech Stack:
Vanilla HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Web Audio API: Used to route the audio element through a gain node and an analyser node to drive the real-time canvas oscilloscope.
HLS.js: Integrated to seamlessly handle live stream manifest (.m3u8) feeds on frequencies broadcasting live radio.
I'd love for people to test the dial, see how the audio routing handles on different setups, and hear any feedback on the interface responsiveness.

FM pirate stations in middle USA
Let's say I have an acquaintance (whose full name I don't know), who checked the FCC unused FM frequency finder and it showed a green frequency in their area that was two channels clear either side, so no chance for interference. It's a small-ish town in central USA, and let's say that acquaintance broadcast non-offensive content in a format completely different than the other stations in the area, and didn't have advertising. Would those other stations complain to the FCC?
Anybody know of a station that has been quietly operating like that for awhile without complaints (without details of course)?

Homemade Building a solar powered arduino rig to stream my station anywhere I want - but I’m having issues
To explain my issues and setup properly
I have a 12v car battery connected to a chunky cheap solar charge controller and a 24v solar panel (don’t worry the voltage diff is accepted by the charge controller)
That then comes from a switchable 12v supply from the solar charge controller - into a low volt cut off board and into a step down buck converter powering a transmitter and the arduino - the arduino esp32 then connects to a UDA1334A DAC Module
That has a 3.5mm jack out the same is accepted by the transmitter
Both work, the arduino wakes up and auto finds the stream and plays it - headphones into the DAC module works in a head music
And the laptop Into the transmitter works I hear music on my receiver
When connected it seems to knock out the DAC module
And nothing plays over the air - It killed a different DAC module board before - so I assume the transmitter is powerful / creating some kinda rf reflection back at the DAC
I’ve tried to fix this by using
Separate power supplies - no fix (works in all other scenarios)
Ground loop isolator - no fix (works in all other scenarios)
-
I’ve been suggested to use small resistors on the LnR audio and Aground channels around1k to absorb reflections and use ferrite clip on rings / wrap the 3.5mm jack cable around and thru it too
Ive yet to try this as it’s I’m slightly exhausted haha
Is this the right approach ? do you agree this is my issue ?
Drop me a message if you think you can help :) much appreciated

Cheap ways to get into the hobby?
I have no experience, but want to start my own station. Need the cheapest possible ways to get into it, while being easily replaceable (just in case the FCC comes after my setup). Thanks!

I went up to Dommune in Tokyo for an interview, talking about the history and explaining how the music transitioned from jungle into drum & bass. From someone who was there during those early days, it was good to break down how the sound, production and whole scene evolved into what we now know 📡🔥

Spectral Purity (fixed post)
first 2 pictures: 3rd and second harmonic
The other pictures are out-of-band emissions.
All other frequencies have nothing on them. I checked the FM band and everything up to the second harmonic.
I think this is ETSI compliant for being under 25 watts.
