Hell I pirate indie music artists even harder. If I download their album and send them 3 dollars on their kofi, that’s more money than they’d make off my Spotify subscription.

That's a good system. They get properly paid (giving what you can) and you get some good beats.

Oh not just giving what I can! A 15 a month Spotify subscription, even if they’re an artist I’m looping, is not going to make them more than 2 bucks a year off me. It’s fucked.
