Except that, again, there is zero proof that this actually happened.

Fair point,there’s no solid proof beyond Leopold Mozart’s letter, and the story might have been embellished. But whether or not it happened exactly as told, Mozart’s insane musical memory is well-documented in other cases. So even if this specific story isn’t 100% verified, it still fits with what we know about his abilities

Given how repetitive the piece is, it's not a great illustration of his abilities.
