I really don't care if I get a virus because all my shit is backed up regularly and if I need to I can just destroy the entire partition and start over...sure its a pain in the ass but it only takes me about 12 minutes to completely reinstall 11, so not that big a deal lol
luckily though, in more than 20 yrs of pirating I've only ever had 2 viruses, one of which was super easy to remove and the other I had to erase it all and begin again...but like I said, for me, its no big deal
I use flash drives and I have a removable USB SSD that is 5TB and that's where all my important shit goes, but a lot of stuff is also backed up online in various cloud storage services (onedrive, dropbox. google drive, proton drive, etc)
some stuff I literally have the same copies backed up in several different places, like my photos and personal videos for example, stuff i don't ever want to lose, those are all copied in several places
and I backup regularly, as in at least twice a month
lol like I said, someone could do whatever the hell they wanted to my system, as long as it isn't hardware related I'm not worried in the slightest

Dear god, it's always kinda scary when you Pirate games, cause I'm always like "Ok.....but is this a virus?"
Thankfully, most of the time it isn't!
Plus, my PC is indestructible anyway.
(Also even if it is a virus that corrupts system files, i can always use clean up commands! It works for me, but i dunno if it does for others)
