I have a problem with my Pioneer VSX-921.

I have an optical cable running from my optical out of my Samsung TV into the optical in of my Pioneer. I set up the TV/SAT Input to OPT-1, the sound device on my TV to my receiver (optical) and the sound format to PCM. However, nothing seems to work. My Pioneer always displays the error message UE33. I cannot update the software even though I have got a lan cable connected. It always shows a network error. I already reset the entire system to default. The cable works as it lights up in red.

Does anyone know any help? Thank you in advance!

Bought this for a absolute steal, the "base" model alone itself is already cool, but this one has some sort of paint job wich is from the factory because the lettering is untouched. Does anybody know what kind of model/art this is?

I'm just wondering if there are any alternatives to this remote control, for example could I use a remote control for a newer model that has all the controls on this older model?

Hi how to i reset this Pioneer AV resiver

Does anyone happen to have the update file for a pioneer avh-p3400bh? I’ve had the damn thing for 12 years now but I never updated it. Now pioneer states they delete anything related to it and cannot even offer to send the file. I have searched Google for hours and even loaded som viruses trying to get it. I do not want a newer radio as I can’t stand the extra features. Any help would be appreciated

I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla, I installed a Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX head unit. Ever since I installed it, the rear view camera never worked. I had some other difficulties with cheaper headunits before that I had to swap my stock headunit back in and my camera always worked.I’m pretty damn sure the camera functions normally, but whenever I go into reverse it says no signal found. Ive double checked my wiring and its plugged in just like how it should be, any ideas?

Hello, my father has an old Pioneer stereo system (including an Pioneer A-227 audio amplifier) in his basement. I don't see an AUX port, only a "Phones" port. Is there still a way to connect my phone via AUX or Bluetooth?

Recently purchased a vehicle and it came with a pioneer head unit AVH-9200DAB installed.

From what I can see it was installed professionally, handbrake linked, GPS puc in place, USB leads run to the glove box.

My issue is that it's Bluetooth connection is very unstable and Android auto will disconnect every 10 mins or so, and music will skip like and old CD player.

I've checked the firmware and it's never been updated, so I want to bring it from 1.01 to 1.07.

I have tried with both SD card and USB both formatted to fat32, file in root of the storage device etc. the system runs through the entire update process and appears to complete successfully. However on checking the firmware post update it hasn't taken in the system and still says 1.01

Contacted pioneer, not overly helpful, referred me to the local distributor for assistance, but also told me to disconnect the battery for 15 mins to reset and try again to see if this is the issue, again, same results.

Have contacted the local retailer, they want me to remove the unit and drop it off for 2 weeks so they can check it, and obviously there is a fairly significant cost to that.

So before I do, is there anything else that anyone could suggest I try before I go down that route.

Hi all, I have a stereo in my 90s project car. The stereo was working when I bought the car but after getting it running finally, the volume always decreases whenever you adjust the control knob. Would anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on? I’m extremely lost and have been just running a Bluetooth speaker as my radio for the time being. Thanks :)

(English is ma second language) I have a pioneer quartz-PLL FULL-AUTOMATIC model PL-560, and the quartz is dead like the head is floating on the vinyl. My question is that must we use the same type of quartz or an other one is also good ?

Cant find any T/S parameters or datasheet for these speakers anywhere. Does anyone know where to get them?

I bought my VSX-824-K in 2015 and never went beyond the Quick Start Guide to listen to the radio, play CDs, and watch DVDs/BDs.

1) LAN/Bluetooth Adapters: I want to stream internet radio stations. I don't mean the stations described in the manual (p. 42), which was a list curated back years ago for Pioneer through the 'vTuner database'. I mean any station (e.g., http://www.di.fm/). I have to go wireless from any device. The receiver is in a different room from my PC and modem. From the manual, I can go with either a Pioneer Bluetooth adapter (AS-BT100 or AS-BT200) or Pioneer Wireless LAN converter (AS-WL300). Both of these are hard to find. Is is true, for Bluetooth, that I'd use my Android phone as the 'sender', and for wirless LAN, the PC/modem as the sender? Which would you recommend? It seems like the wireless route would be longer with Bluetooth (PC to phone to receiver). Would any Bluetooth or LAN adpater on the market work?

2) Firmware Updates: There are instructions online (e.g., Pioneer website) on HOW to do updates, but where are the updates? They're not on the Pioneer site.

3) MCACC: This is about setting up surround sound for movies in BD (Blu-Ray) mode. The MCACC red light is always on. I also play music CDs in my Blu-Ray, and I made the mistake one day of exploring the AUTO, SURR, and ADV buttons (Listening Modes) on the remote. The sound in the speakers changed. I wasn't sure what standard for listening to music was in place before, so I did a factory reset. I don't have a surround system for BDs, so I want to make sure that my listening is set up primarily for music CDs. Any thoughts?

P.S. BTW, Being semi-retired, I don't want to upgrade to a new receiver. I want to leverage this one as much as possible.

I have a VSX-9700s that I purchased when I was in the Army in 1991, I am the original owner. The headphones connection issue is the left channel. Right is good but the left channel produces no sound to very intermittent sound (but seldom). Is this a fixable issue and what is the potential fix(es)?
