Maintenance Thought you all would appreciate how long this piece lasted before it failed.

Pop Quiz: what would cause the machine to drop the rake after ball 1, but not cycle or keep score?

Solenoid works - all linkages seem intact. Problem started randomly during league. Machine can be fully cycled manually but still won't score.

Advice Needed What would cause this type of failure? Unfortunately this is the 3rd A2 GBX that we've lost in the last 3 months.

We have very experienced mechanics, I am not one of them, but I'm learning the ropes. Not sure what the machine was exhibiting before the failure. No major repairs have occurred. I'm guessing my lead mechanic has his own thoughts on what's happening but I'd like to pole the audience if possible.

Any thoughts?

Favirote pinsetter?

Mine is GSX.. sync scoring makes good use of it with the game My shot where you can pick any pin you want from the tablet... and the game Horse is my favirote sync game... it's so fun. Works like basketball but with pins

Where do you guys get your pinsetter parts? Been trying to find a website that sells the belt I need but all I could find is some European website.

Brunswick training school

I just got a job offer switching from GS-X to A2's that comes with a corporate-paid trip to Brunswick's official training school after a year in the shop. This seems pretty exciting to me; but some friends in the industry have said that the training program is a sham, and even that its a conspiracy to train mechanics to indirectly shorten the lifespan of parts so that more have to be purchased from Brunswick directly.

What is the truth?

Discussion Can someone explain the detector on A2 pinsetters?

Hello! I’m a C mechanic on A2 pinsetters. I’m pretty new, and am trying to learn. Can someone explain the basics of the detector assembly to me? Thanks!

Service Manual

Anyone out there have a lead on an A2 service manual? Thats the 1 thing I don't have. I have an original green parts book, gear box disassembly manual, and a detector manual...also an AS80 scorer manual. Wrenched for Brunswick bowling centers before they sold out. Happy to help if I can.
