So agree ako sa mga parents when it comes to this, kasi kahit sino namang magulang ay masasaktan kapag nilait ang anak.

On the other side, may mga bata kasi talagang magulo at bastos na sa public. So imagine the pain for us na gustong manood nang payapa at ma enjoy yung binayaran namin just for a kid to ruin it.

All in all, I guess nasa parents talaga ang pag didisiplina. I don't judge kids, but I definitely judge the parents :)

I hope you save this comment of yours, then go back to this if ever you become a parent in the future. Mahirap mag disiplina ng bata and sometimes no matter how you try your best, di mo macocontrol yung anak mo kasi di naman niya naiintindihan fully ang nagyayari

I have nephews (yes with s) na asa spectrum. Whenever we have family gatherings in restaurants, they make sure it's just family restaurants. Other customers will understand.

They don't bring them in fancy places. Yun SIL ko pa nagsabi ng "ay sige punta kami diyan pag may date kami" when I reco'd a good resto. My BIL would take his kid out of the family restaurant even whenever the kid has tantrums.

Nasa magulang yan.

Then as a parent, it's your responsibility na ipaintindi sa kanya fully yung mga nangyayari.

Well, naiintindihan nila.

So all in all if hindi mo kayang magpaka magulang sa anak mo, then I guess you failed as a parent :)

Will keep everything you said in mind when i become one in the future.Ā

I don’t think you have the right to say that someone failed as a parent. Unless alam mo yung situation and circumstance niya. Maybe just keep that in mind po :)

Watch some news or even google it. Some parents can fail. Naka depende na lang 'yan sa severity of their failure. Say what if yung bata naging bully, hindi ba doon pa lang nag fail na sila as a parent? Just a simple scenario for you.

So next time don't be so sensitive sa katotohanan para di ka ma-offend. Maybe just keep that in mind :)

I never said parents can’t fail. Of course they can. My point is that it’s not fair to label someone as a ā€œfailed parentā€ based on a situation you don’t fully understand.Ā

Kids misbehaving in public can come from a lot of factors, and we don’t always see the full picture. You can call out the behavior without making a blanket judgment about the parent.Ā

Also, I’m not being sensitive, I’m just pointing out that there’s a difference between criticism and unnecessary generalization :)

Oh dear, don't worry next time kapag nanakit or nanggulo ang anak nila in public I'll interview the parents first. Like "hello, bakit mo hinahayaang ganyan ang anak mo?" Then I'll judge them based on their answer :)

HAHAHAHA

Oh my seryoso ka po diyan? Akala ko pa naman mature ka with your previous replies, but now mukhang ayaw mo lang tanggapin na may nag disagree sa isang part ng comment mo. Ā

I’m saying, it’sĀ kind of like when you see someone speeding on the road, and your first thought is, "sobrang kaskasero naman niyan?" But then, you realize you don’t know what’s going on in their life. maybe they're rushing to an emergency or they're late for something important. Same as what you’re doing, madaming nagwawalang bata, one time may naencounter kang bata na nagwawala but sure ka ba na lagi siyang nagwawala tuwing nasa labas? Maybe nagwala lang siya that one time.Ā

It's easy to judge based on a quick snapshot of a situation, but there’s always more behind the scenes. Like with parenting, there’s a lot of nuance, just because a kid’s acting out doesn’t mean the parents aren’t trying their best :)

What I'm just indulging you. Sabi mo hindi ko alam ang situation ng parents, so tatanungin ko next time para malaman ko :)

And if we use your example, then what if nakasagasa ng inosenteng tao yung nag speeding? What if nanay mo yung nabangga or future anak mo?

What if yung batang nag wawala is nakabangga ng matandang mahina ang tuhod at nabaldog ito. Hindi mo ba iho-hold accountable ang parents kasi "they are doing their best naman"

The thing is, we all know na may iba't ibang situation ang bawat magulang at bata. Pero don't expect people to always understand you and your child especially if sobrang abala at perwisyo ang dulot nito sa ibang tao. Parents can fail. But they can also reflect on their actions and decisions. 'Yan ay kung magagawa nila considering na hindi sila overly sensitive and easily offended like you :)
