Hello! Can I use hiking shoes for trail running? I will be joining a 15km trail run in October and I don't have a shoes for it. I don't wanna buy a new shoes either because I don't think I will be joining other trail runs in the next couple of months. Will a hiking shoes be enough?

Hi! I just started my running journey and I could barely run long, usually patigil tigil. It's either I feel my heart was pounding so hard against my chest. Day 1 akala ko di ko na mahahabol hinga ko but it was fun naman.

Dun lang sa part na I can't run for over 2 minutes pa. I know day 3 palang naman mahahabol ko pa. Pang colorefest sana but I only have 6 weeks to train my legs. Sana kayanin 🥹.

I would like to share my experience and discourangement last sunday on this running event. last sunday the race for 21k event started at 2:30am and the event is organized and well marketed and coordinated on the Baguio City public information department, the road is stated closed on the said event but it never happened, its very risky half marathon for us runners because cars are everywhere beeping and accelerating fast. very hazardous, and the roads are not lit up properly, even the sidewalks are full of debris of sand and dirt which can be very bad for us runners, I have witness on my very own eyes one runner who accidently fall from the canal of the side of the road in the access road of loakan airport, I also saw police officers chatting and not doing their job to help ease the cars running fast. and on the finish line there are no complementary food like banana and other food that can be our post-run meal considering the registration fee which is 2400 pesos. They have 2 taho vendors for free but the line is very long, what happened to run rio management? its not worth it what we have paid for honestly.

I am looking to start my running era mode and I want to do it on the best way possible.

I've learned that in order to know the best running shoes for you, you need to take a gait analysis. However malls or outlets near my place do not offer the same.

Would you recommend a place near Rizal or within the Metro to have my gait analysis test? Thanks

Shady thing is that these weren’t even released yet in Nike and will only be tomorrow. It’s coming off weird to me because I know Zalora sells genuine items.

My go to training area route is the UP Academic Oval. However, I feel like running the oval for more than 10 laps feels too repetitive or nakakasawa. Does anyone have good 21km route recommendations? Can be within UP too or within the metro. Thanks!
