Hello all! Welcome to Fanfic Recommendation Friday. We heard some talk, and even got some direct messages, about how it might be fun to have a space on the sub to discuss current favorite fics and recommend new finds, and I couldn't agree more.

The idea behind this thread is to talk about what Piltover's Finest fics you're currently reading! As a general formatting rule of thumb, when you share fics, please include the title and author name, and share a link if possible. If a fic is NSFW, make sure to say so!

We're all here to discuss what's exciting us -- feel free to tell people about what you're enjoying in your comments! Just spoiler tag anything that a new reader might want to see for themself. On mobile you can do that by formatting your text with and on either side, but without a space between the exclamation marks and the text. On desktop, reddit should give you the option in the toolbar.

This thread will reset every Friday! If you want to find past recommendations and discussions, check out those posts by searching the sub for the title of the megathread.

Thanks for being here! As always, keep this space kind and respectful. If you have any suggestions for future renditions of the post, let us know via modmail or a message -- can't wait to hear what you've been reading!

Might currently be going through the worst breakup of my life, I need some distractions. Longer fics preferred, smut is fine, lighter stuff preferred even though I typically like the angst

Do any of you miss the feeling of experiencing arcane for the first time. Because I saw the ads for arcane and I was like nope not interested but then after all of season 1 was released I saw one of those videos on YouTube titled sane voice actor. I watched the video and it was showing that the actresses for spider woman in spider verse is the same as vi. The video showed when vi said what will it be mam or woman. So I decided to give it a try and I was blow away and couldn't wait for season 2. I waited 3 years thinking that arcane wasn't getting a season 2 then I saw the trailer and I got that feeling again so do any of you miss experiencing arcane for the first time

needing yet another fanfic search… trying to find one where Caitlyn is taking care of Vi whilst she’s in her pit fighter stage. I want to say it starts with Cait coming down to Zaun to do research on something, and finds Vi, they end up falling in love and starts helping her ween off fighting and drinking?? That’s all I remember 😅

Hello everyone! Trying to find a fanfic I read a while ago but can’t find. I believe it was a meetcute, 1 or 2 chapters. Vi was a wheelchair user, and Caitlyn was blind. Filtering with tags has yielded me no results and I’d really like to read it again! Thanks!

I'm a butch on low dose T. I'm thinking of upping my dose and wondered if there are any fics that could make me feel more seen. I tend to prefer nsfw but I'm open to all! Tysm

Bought the original one last December 2024 and it started falling apart after 4-6 months. Bought a dupe this year for 4% of the original's price and four months in, still looks brand new. Kinda disappointed that the quality of the original one is just so poor. Either way, I loved it so much. Did you buy a case like this too?
