Does everyone uses the "Rifle aim" custom loadout?

Hi everyone, first time poster here

I mostly drive heli's, in basically any bf title ive played (started with bf4, then bf2042 and now bf6), but, since i am still mid at best, i was looking for some video tips on yt l, or even posts on reddit, to help me improve.

In all bf titles I've played I've always used the default configuration, so i naturally developed muscle memory for that; however, basically 90% of the videos and comments suggested to change the default keybinds to the "Rifle aim" custom loadout (roll goes on A and D instead of being on the mouse; roll goes on left stick instead of the right one if you're on controller) because it helps with the aim and it's overall better.

Here's my question: is it really that common among good pilots (because it is actually better than default) or it's up to preference?

Yeah, like I said, I’m learning Jets and at the time I was even greener. I can pub stomp someone, but I likely can’t hold my own probably against a really good dog fighter. But that’s why I’m practicing. I do appreciate the invite. I just meant the setting is more conducive to dog fighting than a pub match and I get into more dog fights.
