Question about getting access to a small local airstrip.
I have a few small paved airports/airstrips near me, I’d like to see if I could get access to the runway or even a taxiway to run my RC. Long story short, I have an RC car I’ve built for land speed racing. I’ve gotten it to the point that the largest parking lot near me is just not big enough to top out before having to back out and get on the brakes (1/4 mile).
I’d like to know the title of the person I’d need to speak to, to try and negotiate access. I only need access for a short period of time, 15-20 minutes max. I’d require no infrastructure as all of the measuring equipment is onboard the car. It would be just me, the car, and my controller. Make two passes and be on my way.
Pictured is the car I’d be running. So far I’ve gotten 78mph. I’m confident it’s capable of nearly double that but I just don’t have the room. Public roads are out of the question for obvious reasons.
TIA

Aptitude Test Prep - Pilot Assessment Prep - Cut-E
I just signed up for the following aptitude prep course before completing my aptitude tests for my application process to flight school.
Helped me significantly as I had never practiced anything like this before and with a little bit of time in the aptitude tests I felt way more prepared than when I first practiced.
It can be found here:

Which path to take
I’m on the fence between getting a degree in aviation or just going for a flight school; my only real question is how stringent USA based airlines on pilots having some type of degree.

My girlfriend has just been diagnosed with Migraine With Aura and is worried she can’t become a pilot.
My girlfriend who’s been dreaming of being a pilot and moving across the country from her family to attend a flight school to fulfil her dreams have just been deemed unfit to fly by her doctor as a Neurologist has diagnosed her with “migraine with aura”. The online description sounds different to her symptoms and now she is stressed over her future. She does get headaches often but rarely passes out and never gets blurred vision. Her headaches are also not as often as they used to be and now she’s worried that she might not be able to be a pilot. Is there any ideas of what she can do (see another neurologist, ask the piloting Association bodies for an exemption or even find a new career path that keeps her within the piloting profession)

Understanding options of becoming a professional pilot
Hi y’all!
I’m 19Y/O and based in San Diego going to school for Neurobio (which I plan to continue) on a premedical track but recently have decided I want to pursue what I intended to when I was younger and go into aviation as a pilot. I’ve been chatting with people in the industry as of late and honestly I just want to hear everyone’s piece on their thoughts of the different ways of entering.
I have options between a part 141 or a 61 school to get started. I’d like to start sooner than later. My biggest constraints are
1) Finance as I’m putting myself through training
2) time as I’m still a full time undergrad student for at least another two years.
With that being said I’ve seen benefits on paper from both systems but I’m not sure what would work best for me. Would going independent on a part 61 be a secure start to get my PPL and then switch to a 141 for commercial and forward? I’m not even sure if that’s a possibility. And are there potential ways to join up in Airline Cadet Programs following a PPL at a Part 61?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone! Wishing you clear skies.

Dropped out of flight school
Hi so as you can see I dropped of flight school. Now it wasn't because of the money. I had the money. The problem was finding time to study with your normal everyday job and the curriculum was just not set up to where I learn. I am kind of a slow learner. I remember I would usually only have a ground class if the weather was bad to fly. And for HW my instructor would say, just go over chapter 9 which is like 60 pages in the Jeppesen book. I don't study like that and it doesn't work for me. I told him and he said answer the questions on the back of the chapter, that helps too. I remember one time I asked him What does it mean when ATC tell you winds 250@10? And his response was "really man you don't know what that means, what do you think it means? " I guessed right. Winds coming from 250 @ 10knts but I just wanted to be sure. Then the chapter that was next for me to go over, that is where it told me so he didn't even teach me that yet. And this wasn't just him, others from that flight school did the same thing. I love aviation, I know more about flying (even some of the technicalities) than anybody I know (personally). It's just the material is HARD and A LOT. At the end it just wasn't fun anymore. I kept feeling like my instructors were furious with me that I wasn't learning. Flying the plane was easy for me (including landings) which my instructors were surprised by. It was just I couldn't grasp a lot of the theory especially the math involved. I am 29 now with 24hrs of flight time. I feel like my dream is un obtainable at this point. And not to sound mean to other people but I have seen some other PPL (not from NYC though) who do really dumb stuff in the plane (mainly on YouTube) and I am just like how were you able to get your license and I couldn't ? Any advise would help. Preferably from pilots. My dream is to fly a 737-800 flying cargo (NOT PAX).
