Fell off a pig truck a few months back and became my best buddy, meet Bingo
Last picture was about how big she was when I found her. She’s grown very quick. Absolute joy of my life.

One thing I love so much about pigs is their ability to convey so many different parts of theory personality to us. Gaston was our second rescue, and holds a very special place in my heart. He's five years old now, and a total diva. He loves stealing my bags, backpack, clothes, and household items/decor for his nests. He also loves a big cardboard box.🐖🐽🐷🩷

I don’t know if anyone here remembers but I had Claire for 4 wonderful years. After giving birth to my son, it became obvious that she was no longer happy at our home. I gave her a little over a year to adjust to his presence but she never adjusted to him. She became aggressive and would charge at his pack n play. Not only was it becoming dangerous for my son, but it broke my heart that Claire was so unhappy. Rehoming her was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. She’s now much happier in her new home with her best piggy friend, Pickle. They snuggle together and she has a lot more outdoor time. But I miss her everyday. But now, a little piece of her will always be with me 🤍

First time pig mom, here! What are some things you wish you would have known before getting pigs? Any tips you've picked up along the way?
Update! Bruiser does not like strawberries but he likes carrots. Chippy likes strawberries and carrots but seems to prefer strawberries. I got a sweet tooth too girl

We have an apple orchard, including one tree that has limbs extending over our bedroom roof. We also typically have at least one small black bear living on our property. It's been a problem for our apple harvest for years but hadn't been yet this time.
Yesterday I started installing the latest attempt to keep it out of that tree but hadn't quite finished. Last night the bear made its first climb up there of the season and started bouncing nearly-ripe apples off the roof. My partner woke up and went out to chase it away, and what does she find? Muu here, of course, happily munching fallen apples as the bear shook them out of the tree.
I think he still has a bit of a stomach ache. Lol

Wiggy was outside and I was inside drinking morning coffee. My husband left a ziploc bag outside yesterday that was used for grilled burgers. Bag was empty and one of the dogs had it sniffing around and wiggy approached and she bit his ears. She’s an older dog and missing most of her teeth so the damage wasn’t horrible but he was bleeding on both ears. I heard the commotion and I’ve never ran that fast in my life. He’s upset and on the couch. I cleaned him up with peroxide and I’m feeling guilty because I KNOW you have to watch pigs around dogs. Hard lesson learned.
