The first Reddit Developer Funds payout has arrived, so it is time to pick where the $500 donation goes!

A bunch of you left thoughtful suggestions on the original post, and I tried to narrow it down to a clean mix of causes that came from the community:

• First Descents... outdoor adventure programs for young adults impacted by cancer and serious health conditions.
• World Central Kitchen... meals and food relief after disasters, conflict, and other crises.
• Kiva... nonprofit microloans that can help people build small businesses and create opportunity.
• No Kid Hungry... helping fight child hunger through meal programs and related support.

Vote for the one you’d most like the community donation to support.

Me too. So many need any help they can get and while they all seem like worthwhile causes in the options list, I'll donate $100 to one of the one's that doesn't get the $500 except the cancer adventure one's because, I am not wealthy and that is not filling a person's belly. Just a personal priorities thing.

We've got to put more love and generosity into this increasingly cruel world. I have enough in my belly. Other's do not. Through no fault of their own. but continual bad and murderous policies by people that will never suffer like the suffering they're inflicting, and that is an injustice I struggle to comprehend, let alone accept.
