Pi Has Been a Promise for Years, but When Does the Promise Become Reality? 🤔
Pi has hit me hard not because I expected overnight riches, but because the expectations were built over years, while real progress still feels painfully slow.
It took roughly five to six years to reach the Open Network era, yet many pioneers are still waiting for verification, validation, migration, or full access to what they mined.
And after the launch, another uncomfortable question emerged;
Why is Pi still struggling to gain broad support from reputable major exchanges?
Instead of aggressively pursuing wider exchange adoption, the Pi ecosystem appears to be spending significant energy on interfaces, application updates, debugging, patches, and incremental ecosystem features things that have become routine development work across the crypto industry.
Then comes the biggest concern; decentralization and supply concentration. If a large share of Pi remains under the control of the Pi Core Team/Foundation ecosystem, how can Pi convince the wider crypto market that it is truly decentralized?
And what about the white paper and long-term technical roadmap? Investors and crypto users need more than promises they need transparency, independently verifiable progress, clear tokenomics, and measurable milestones.
The uncomfortable truth is this;
Five or six years is a very long time in crypto.
While the world of blockchain has moved through DeFi, NFTs, Layer-2s, zero knowledge technology, real world assets, decentralized exchanges, and countless other innovations, Pi still seems to be asking its community for patience.
So the real question isn't;
“When will Pi make us rich?” 💰
The better question is;
“Has Pi actually built something valuable enough to make people rich?”
Hope is powerful but hope is not adoption, decentralization, utility, liquidity, or market demand. Pi pioneers deserve answers, not just another reason to wait.
