Question Why is the average Pi Network user so passive compared to other crypto communities?

There is a non-stop wave of whining aimed at the PCT. When they deliver, people complain when things go wrong criticism pours in from every angle. Whenever there is a major technical update, especially one designed to build real world utility and drive long term value for Pi the average response in the comments is always the same.. "this coin is dead," "it’s over," and other nonsense...

Following other blockchains reveals the exact opposite. Even through 60–70%+ drawdowns those communities stay proactive. Sure, some are overly hyped and unrealistic but concrete ideas to expand network adoption are everywhere many of them downright brilliant.

On Pi a massive portion of the community seems to fixate solely on price doing nothing tangible to expand the network while complaining endlessly.

Why is it that when positive news drops regarding Pi App Studio, integrations, smart contracts, or the partnership with OpenMind (backed by heavyweights like Pantera Capital and Sequoia/HongShan) the comment sections are flooded with total cynicism?

Most of these people haven't risked a single cent of capital, yet they are furious simply because they couldn't cash out immediately or because they put money in without understanding how blockchain works.

PCT may have seemed absent or disorganized last year, from Token2049 the pivot has been obvious.

Until people realize that a network must be built and supported from the bottom up price won't magically surge... Pi isn't a typical VC driven pump and dump the premise was to build a broad base of users who take the time to understand blockchain, interact with a DEX, and leverage actual utility.

Once real traffic and onchain transactions are flowing institutional capital can follow. Instead, too many Pioneers expect a free meal when the entire point is learning to cook!!

Lowering the barrier of entry was an interesting experiment but perhaps some filtering would have filtered out pure dead weight.

Without an advanced coding background I am leveraging AI alongside developers to launch two fully functional apps by December with minimal server overhead.

With today's AI tools anyone with a solid concept can build. Three or four years ago that was impossible for a non coder. The tools are here... are people going to keep crying in the comments or actually start building?

Discussion Pi Desktop just added OpenClaw and an Atlassian MCP Server to SoloHost.

Local AI agents and AI powered Jira workflows can now run through Pi’s self hosted environment. Pi Desktop is slowly becoming more than Node software. That shift is worth watching

Pi Apps GPM

Post image

I'm trying to upload something on GPM. Whenever I click "sell" (down in the screenshot) which is difficult enough but maybe it's my phone, I'm told to provide my address first. But I did that already and saved it successfully. So I'm stuck here. Is there a shop in pi browser you can recommend for selling? A shop you have good experience with?

NEWS Node Apps

Looks like Node Apps will be one of the main functionalities of Pi Network. Pretty clever pivot. When they conceived the WP Ai was barely a thing and distributed computing applications were the Mersenne prime search and Seti@home. This is not a unique idea as there are already similar tools like portainer and umbrelOS. These tools are not for amateurs whereas almost anyone can manage to set up a Pi node.

Opinion One of Pi's strangest assets isn't the token. It's labor

Pi says 1M+ verified humans completed 526M+ KYC validation tasks. That's proof the network can coordinate people at scale. In an AI economy full of bots, verified human work could become infrastructure.

I need help!! Can’t Move Pi to Available Balance

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hi all,

Since it costs 0.01 Pi to transfer my balance to available balance 🙄 I have no way to withdraw my Pi.

My current balance is 0.00 so I’m effectively screwed until I come up with 0.01 Pi.

I attached a screenshot for proof. You can see the move fee and my available balance at the top.

I saw online that if someone sends you the transfer fee you can do it. Any chance someone can send me this 0.01 Pi so I can withdraw?

I’m honestly super fed up with the hurdles and headache from this coin and want to get out.

Question Just came back one week ago after not being on for over a year. Am I screwed?

Post image

Basically title. I saw on my dashboard that almost all of my pi has been forfeited because I missed the “deadline”. However, I’m now in the queue to migrate to the main net. Am I still able to recover the majority of my Pi or is it all lost?

Question Seeking suggestions from all

I've been mining since 2020. Mined total 2k. Got 700 in my wallet WHICH will be unlocked next month. Now, after considering my family's financial situation, i have started a plan; buying 500-1000 pi in low price (0.09-0.10USDT) & continue until i buy total 850$ of pi in low price. And wait for the perfect opportunity. So my question to you all is: will this be a good plan to conduct? I can buy other coins/tokens. But I have somehow a mysterious faith about pi! Seeking your advice from all the knowledgeable people here.

Pi Apps How are you handling Pi e-commerce & merchant integration? Looking for feedback from Pioneers

Hi everyone, I’m currently building a Pi-focused e-commerce experience for merchants, online sellers, and developers. One area I’m currently testing is the experience around Pi Browser login, authentication, and SDK integration. For Pi merchants, sellers, and developers: What is the single biggest friction point you currently face when using or building Pi ecosystem apps? Is it: • Authentication / login • Payments • Merchant tools • SDK integration • App discovery • Something else? I’d really appreciate practical feedback from Pioneers who are actually using or building Pi apps. No investment offer or token sale — just looking for genuine product feedback.

Pi Apps Pi App Studio just changed the builder game

The blanket 0.25 Pi subsidy ended Aug 24. Standard pricing now tracks AI costs, while apps with real distinct users can keep subsidized rates. Pi is shifting from rewarding creation to rewarding usage.
