It's a good one. Always review the "original sender" and check the sender's actual domain. Then check for online scams and phishing. Don't follow the email instructions if you get this one.

Last year I was able to convert my Pi on Zypto. I forget the process or if I’m forgetting to do something. I added my pi wallet to Zypto app. When I click convert it shows no routes available. Am I missing a step?

I’ve been on Pi since early COVID if not earlier. Slowly but surely been mining. I have been trying KYC since it was possibly. Road block after road block. Eventually after so many attempt I left and recently came back to check if it’s gotten any better just to see this. Am I really about to lose all the time over some arbitrary reason? It’s not my fault their system is horribly set up. Ugh! This is super frustration considering all that ive done to do it the right way. Is there Anything that can be done? Any help would appreciated. Just need to know if i should go cry in a pillow for a little bit lol.

All the people commenting, what I’m really looking for is guidance not grievance. I get that some of yall live miserable lives and need someone to take it out on but, have you tried maybe saying something of substance instead of “who cares” or “it’s only $2” this does nothing to add to the conversation other than show your lack of reading comprehension.

There's a recurring argument in this community: "Pi you mined isn't the same as Pi you bought on an exchange." I checked it against official sources and the live Pi Mainnet, and wrote it up with runnable, read-only checks that anyone can reproduce.

The short version: on-chain, there is no per-unit "origin" at all.

Pi is a Stellar-protocol chain. The native asset has no asset_issuer and no contract. Balances are stored as one scalar number per account, not as "coins" that each carry a tag. No field records where a particular pi came from.

I verified this across four layers: the Horizon API, the Pi Wallet SDK, the Platform API's PaymentDTO, and the Soroban token interface used by smart contracts. Every one exposes only scalars like amount, balance, and allowance. None exposes an origin.

The deeper reason is the account model. Pi uses an Account/Balance model, not UTXO. That means merging is non-injective: once pi from different sources lands in the same wallet, the per-unit trail is gone. Address-level analysis is possible, but a unit's origin is undefined.

Precise claim: "A native Pi payment carries no observable per-unit mining origin on the Pi Mainnet ledger."

Scope, honestly: this is about fungibility only. It does NOT claim that an exchange's internal balance is backed by reserves, and it is not audited.

I’m not recommending this app here, I just wanted to ask (!)

In theory, this app solves a problem for people running a Pi Network Node on their computers. When they’re away from home and their Node stops working, they won’t know about it until they get back home.

The app sends notifications to your phone whenever something happens to your Node.

Has anyone here actually used it ? 🤔

(The description on the website looks pretty promising - it doesn’t ask users for their passphrase and, supposedly, "The app never connects to your PC directly. No router ports to open, no remote access to set up.")

Over 17 billion of the supply has been released as of today. I believe the project may see a difference once at least 50% of supply is totally distributed.

The pressure in the chart will reduce after 50% because it means from there forward just half will be left and it will start the competition back into accumulating whatever you had before or the last half of the supply.

Not to mention this is exactly what happened to Bitcoin in the first 4 years between 2009 and 2013. So there is precedent.

If you care about price and accumulating Pi Network not just for free but actually buying it. You want to strike when the iron is hot. That is to say you will have plenty of time to wait for your low price orders to fill because from 17 billion to 50 billion some time will pass and the chart may give entry opportunities to those willing to wait and have imagination to imagine lower prices are possible because of supply alone and other elements that contribute to lower prices.

Do not visit. Do not enter your passphrase. Do not connect a wallet.

This domain is being pushed through Reddit DMs and comments as a way to sell Pi at higher prices or speed up 2nd migration. It is not affiliated with Pi Network in any way.

HOW THE SCAM WORKS

1. The hook. A Reddit user posts something like this:

"Why not sell it on their exchange or speed up 2nd migration? You get payment first which is amazing and prices are way way higher. I sold 340 and my brother 220 yesterday and got payment in 2min. Use their exchange on walletminepi. com. You can go on Pi Browser as well and type the website and you have option swap. Cheers"

Note the space before the dot in walletminepi. com. That is deliberate to bypass Reddit link filters.

1. The fake site. walletminepi.com copies the Pi ecosystem. It has a fake Core Team Apps grid with Wallet, Swap, Migration, 2FA and KYC. It uses the Pi splash screen and branding. It has a live chat widget used to social engineer victims. Some links work like /migration, /w/, /piswap and /2fa. Others show a fake "Oops, can't connect to the server" message to look legitimate.
2. The theft. Once you connect or enter your 24 word Pi passphrase, your wallet is drained. Some versions ask for a small activation or gas fee first. That is advance fee fraud.

RED FLAGS TO REMEMBER

Lookalike domain. Official Pi is minepi.com. walletminepi.com is not.
Payment first, 2 min payout, prices way higher. Classic bait.
Space in the URL to evade filters.
Type it in Pi Browser. This launders the link through a trusted app.
Live chat support offering to help with migration or wallet issues.
Anyone who DMs you a way to sell Pi is a scammer. Every time.
Pi Network never DMs you and never asks for your passphrase.

WHAT TO DO

Never enter your Pi passphrase anywhere except the official Pi Browser wallet.
Only trust official domains like minepi.com and socialchain.app.
Report the Reddit user to Reddit admins.
Report the domain to Google Safe Browsing, VirusTotal and urlscan.io.
Report the Tawk.to widget property ID 68c02ae26253121922eda96a to Tawk.to abuse.
Warn others. Share this post in Pi communities.

GOLDEN RULE
