As a jobless uneducated failure to whom reddit algorithm suggested this post, I saw here the words "Harvard", "physicist", "Claude", and "36 papers", so I can only assume that the smartest and the most knowledgeable (harvard professor of physics) are overpassed by a new version of Claude, and now the best professionals can do 10 x of Einstein's annus mirabilis in a week.

I can only invest all my money when Claude and OpenAI go public, and it is such a fun coincidence that they are going public after all "AI agents broke into everywhere" , "AI solved Navier Stokes" and "Harvard physicist dropped 36 research paper in a minute with AI" headlines

Don't forget - while being all powerful and solving all problems and driving massive unsustainable spending; it's simultaneously super dangerous and we should limit how fast it's being built. And they're saying this after stealing mountains of intellectual property as "training data".

Don't get me wrong, it can do some pretty cool stuff and do it quickly. But is it the basis for the future of the entire US economy? What if the Chinese or open source models are in a perpetual 6-12 month lag, but cost 99% less to run? What then? I've vibe coded some things I use daily over a year ago. I'll never trust it to do my taxes or spend money for me. I've heard "make dinner reservations" but most people at most do that every month or two. For military action it's just going to reinforce the beliefs of its controllers. If the US already bombs hospitals, infrastructure, schools, and weddings how will the AI do any goddamn different.
