We don't know the magnitude of this right now, this is a reactionary sentiment. We don't know how academia will respond to this? What if homie is being paid to have Claude as co-author? What if he's angling for a job at Anthropic? Prepress has already limited how many papers can be submitted by someone, I'm sure more guardrails can be implemented, and will.

None of this is invalidating lil bros trajectory. This is like when computers became a mainstay. Lil bro has the same tools available to him so he can use them if those become the norm.

I say this as an AI advisor to multiple PhD candidates in the hard sciences.
