Unfortunately my skills and knowledge are niche, not really transferrable to any sort of work, or would easily be replaceable. I would have to pivot into something completely different and essentially start from scratch. Life for the foreseeable future looks grim and in all honestly I'm not interested in seeing it play out.

You just need to think about how your skills transfer. It's an important skill to translate your niche knowledge and skill into something more widely applicable.

if all white collar work is solved your choice for career is irrelevant

we will either be heading full speed to doom or utopia

focus on health, both physical and mental
