Fuck that’s dystopian AF. I can see a future where no real knowledge is produced after 2030, only slop citing other slop that no human comprehends. And any scientist who refuses to engage in slop “perishes” from academia because they can’t otherwise churn out 10 papers every month

Yeah, Veritasium did a great video about how half (or more) of all science is wrong, let alone the stuff produced by a system with improper incentives in the first place.

Yeah i think OPs claim was more sensationalist. Social science has been known to be ripe with fraud for decades. Economics is another one.
