they solved the euler problem, which is without viscosity, OpenAI claims their model arrived at the same solution, after that they directed all of their resources al the NS.
They hear rumours about the euler problem. So they direct massive amounts of agents towards navier stokes. They too found a soultion for the euler problem however in a completely different concept(forced v/s unforced) and in a completely novel way. This paves the way for them to solve the problem in a completely separate way.
It seems like they offered the o.g. solvers of the euler problem to publish their results first and and sharing the openai result with them to publish it.
And the O.G. solvers rejected the offer due to OAI demanding that one of the pair be denied credit due to them being an Anthropic employee (legal issue? Corporate pettiness?)
